Gulf left his daughter with the old couple, Sera and Abram. So far his stay with them have been wonderful, they were so kind to him and his daughter but never a day passes and he doesn't think of his beloved son Gabriel.
He now helps Sera to sell her goods in the market which is groceries and now they earn a lot from the business because Gulf's beauty always attracts the people to buy from them.
Abram and Sera weren't exactly poor because they could feed three times a day but since Gulf started selling with Sera in the market, they have been earning more including the money Abram gets as a merchant, life was going on well with them, they were flourishing, Gulf was like a blessing to them.
Currently Gulf was on his way back home from the market, he finished selling off his goods early today and he was so sure his princess was widely awake by that time so he was hurrying up to go back
As as he was still walking,he heard someone call his name just behind him, instinctively he turned back and there he met Llong.
He was very happy to see an old face after a long while especially seeing that the person was Llong, surely Llong would have some news concerning his son.
"Llong!! It's so nice to see you again, if I may ask..what are you going in Shufong Kingdom?" Gulf asked happily
Llong smiled wide, Gulf seemed very happy to see him..
"I came here for some business Gulf, I didn't expect to see you here, wow you're looking even more beautiful, how's life here for you? How's your daughter, I have missed you a lot Gulf" Llong said at once, he was so excited to have finally seen Gulf
"Well I'm on my way back home, a couple took my daughter and I in, I'm very grateful to them..only Heavens know what could have happened if I didn't meet them..well if you are not busy you can come home with me to have a talk while having tea,what do you say?" Gulf asked
"Of course Gulf, I will always have time for you..lead the way" Llong smile wide with a fast beating heart..his plans on getting close to Gulf were working already
Gulf then led the way, there was a comfortable silence between them as they headed back to the old couple's cottage.
After some minutes they finally arrived, Gulf was welcomed in by Sera who was carrying his daughter..Ava who has been quiet suddenly started crying when she felt her mother's presence
'What a naughty kid' Gulf thought as he took her from Sera's arms
"Oh Gulf welcome back, how was market today? And it seems you brought back a visitor" said Sera
"Thanks mom, market was very fine and sorry I didn't inform you about bringing a visitor, we just coincidentally met, he's friend of mine" Gulf explained
"Good day, Ma'am..thanks for taking care of Gulf and his daughter" Llong greeted and said to Sera who just smiled at him
"Oh Gulf dear, you don't need to apologize..you can actually bring anyone you want okay..I will be right back, let me make some tea for you both" Sera kindly smiled before heading to her small kitchen
Gulf led Llong to where some stools were kept, they then sat down
"I'm sorry if here is not as comfortable as your manor Llong, please manage" Gulf apologized, people from Royalties and rich homes wouldn't surely want to be in that place as it seemed little for them to be in so Gulf felt the need to apologize to Llong
"You don't have to apologize to me, I am more than glad to be here, it's good to have you with me, your daughter is so beautiful and looks as perfect as her mother" Llong praised making Gulf to blush
"Ahh you're really flattering me Llong, thanks though..so tell me how are things in Shexing Kingdom?" Gulf asked with a sad smile on his pretty face, just then Sera came and served them their tea which they thanked her for before she left as to give them privacy to talk
"Well things are going on well there..I was in the Palace two days ago. Mew is finally about getting engaged to Prince Song, Prince Song now stays in the Palace and they both seem really happy, I'm sorry about him Gulf, he treated you really wrongly and still he feels no remorse..I didn't expect this from my friend, just how wicked can he be?" Llong depressively said
Gulf thought he couldn't feel pains anymore about anything concerning Mew but he realized he had been deceiving himself all these while, who was he fooling? How can he not still have feelings for a man who has carved his name deep within his soul, a man he has children for and who he loved more than anyone and anything..he knows deep within him..he still wants Mew to come back for him and their daughter..but hearing from Llong about him really seems like he has moved on, Gulf felt numb..his chest suddenly felt heavy..he was indeed holding back his tears but he had to be brave..he couldn't break down again
"That's good for him, I hope he stays happy with Prince Song. What about my son..how's Gabby?" asked Gulf
"Gabriel is doing fine but we all think he's angry at his father for throwing you out of the kingdom but he's currently warming up to Prince Song as his second mother" Llong said looking at Gulf in sympathy
In as much Gulf wanted Gabby to like and accept Prince Song, it still hurt..he didn't want anyone to replace him in his son's life
"Gabby shouldn't be angry at his father, please whenever you get to go back to the palace again, help me tell Gulf to forgive his father..he shouldn't carry hate and anger in him because he's an Angel, Angels do not hate especially to their parent.
It's really good that Prince Song likes my son, my heart can partially be relieved now that I know he is in safe hands, I'm glad everyone has moved on over there" Gulf said with a very soft tone, his tears already threatening to fall
"So have you..moved on? I mean have you found any other man to your liking?" Llong carefully asked but Gulf shook his head negatively
"I am not looking for any partner now Llong, I need to focus on my daughter, she's my only priority now" Gulf said looking at his now sleeping daughter
"Alright Gulf, uhm can I visit you again some other time?" Llong asked
"Yes Llong, just don't tell Mew about my whereabout" Gulf said
'Like I ever will, I rather die than let Mew know where you are, you two can't get close again..not now that I finally have a chance with you..I love you Gulf, I have always loved you but you only had eye for my friend...or foe??' Llong had a slight smirk his face that Gulf didn't notice
"Trust me on that Gulf ,I will not tell him..I have to go now..thanks for the wonderful tea, take care of yourself and your daughter properly...and Gulf you can tell me about anything you need, I would immediately prepare it for you" Llong said and Gulf smiled really wide, Llong was really treating him well unlike his friend, his heart was warming up
"Thanks Llong, I will inform you if I really need anything, have a safe journey and do not forget to tell Gabby what I said okay..see you next time" Gulf said to Llong who nodded with a smile and left for his fake business.
'Oh my dear Gulf, I have always known you have been here, it wasn't just a coincidence for me, it's a good thing you believed all my lies about Mew and your son, you will be mine Gulf, I would make sure of that.
I'm not sorry that I lied to you because you need to really get Mew and your son off your head and heart, I can manage your daughter but I don't promise to treat her well when you finally have my own babies' Llong thought with a wide grin on his faces
The game had just begun....
