Chapter 4

  MEW'S POV

This morning after breakfast I went to have a talk with my father concerning what he said yesternight.

"Good morning Father, hope your night was fine" I asked him

"Good morning son, my night was very fine and yours?" he asked

"Mine was not really fine Father" I said with a sad face

"What is it my son, you look sad...talk to your Father" My father said

"Well Father it's concerning what you said to Gulf and I last night, I really don't like it and didn't expect such especially from my own Father" I said

"Son! Don't talk like that.. I'm doing this for your own good son, why can't you see that?...you have to marry Prince Song, he's very nice son, well brought up, very handsome and he's fertile too..I'm sure he will gift you beautiful children" my Father said while smiling..I really wish that smile was for my Gulf, why can't my Father just support me

"Father you know I love my wife very well, we even have a healthy child together, a very handsome son for that matter and we have another child coming so how can you tell me to marry a second wife, Prince Song is really good but he's not the one I love, we can only be friends so stop pushing it Father, can't you be happy for me, do you want your son's life to be miserable..I thought you love me Dad but it seems I was wrong" I said and was about leaving when my Father called me back, I knew being emotional will make him change his mind...he doesn't like seeing me sad and that's is why I really love my Dad

"Son everything I do is for you and you know very well that I love you and want the best for you..I don't like seeing you sad. Don't worry I will find another way to deal with the issue at hand but it doesn't mean that I accept Gulf, I'm just doing this for your happiness Mew but I hope you will soon realize that it's Prince Song you need in your life" I almost rolled my eyes at the last sentence but held myself, the most important thing is that he isn't forcing me to marry me to marry Song again, now my baby can be finally happy.

"Thanks a lot Dad, you're the best and I love you so much...can't imagine my life without you" I said then hugged him, he's the best Dad that I can ever ask for..I'm proud to be called his son.

"Ohh my baby boy Mew, I'm am not leaving to join my ancestors yet.. I'm still strong and agile okay..but I will be retiring soon..very very soon because I know you are prepared to take over already..I love you son" Dad said to me

"I love you too Dad" I said while still hugging him and we both were laughing..after that we continued chatting about other stuffs.

After meeting my Father, I saw Gulf as I was on my way to meet a friend of mine Llong so I decided to talk to him first.

"Hi beautiful Queen" I said to him as I kissed him on the lips

"Hi love, where are you coming from and where are you headed to..you're stressing yourself these days Mew and I don't really like it,take some rest okay" Gulf said utterly concerned for me

"I love it when you are worried about me, I was about going to see Llong to catch up with stuffs and I was coming back from seeing my Father" I said to him

"Ohh alright, how's father doing?" he asked

"He's doing good sweetie and he also said I don't have to marry Song again..he will look for ways to settle the issue" I said while smiling

"That's really good news Mew, I thought they would have forced you into it, now I'm sure that you really are mine" Gulf said then kissed me

"I have always been yours, okay I have to go meet Llong now" I said

"Ok love, see you later" he said then I took my leave.

UNKNOWN POV

   I have been watching Prince Mew and his wife for a long time now and their bond is still strong...I can't take it anymore, I will surely break them apart.

  Just a matter of time and it will be done,Gulf can and will never be happy as long as I live, I promise him that. He took everything that belonged to me. I will make his life miserable and by doing that, the person he loves the most will be the person to inflict pain on him, wouldn't that be so sweet, sweet revenge *laughs wickedly* Just watch out Gulf, your time is coming to an end, enjoy while you still can.

  Gulf was in the Palace Library reading when the King entered, he wanted to have a talk with Gulf. Gulf was still reading till he felt a presence, he then looked up only to see that it was the king, he immediately stood up and bowed

"Good evening my King, to what do I own this visit?" Gulf asked politely

"I came here to tell you to leave my son alone, if it's about Gabby and your unborn child, they will be well taken care of...Mew needs to marry a royalty and you're doing him no good, you know that Prince Song is definitely better than you so what is your problem?...I want you to leave, run away once you give birth, I will reward you handsomely and you will never smell poverty, Mew will be happy with Prince Song as they are friends already and Prince Song will take care of your children as his" the King said

"With all due respect my King, I will do no such thing, I know you don't accept me as your son's wife but I can't leave Mew or my children, they are my life...I don't care about any money, wherever Mew is I will be there, we promised each other already and sorry to say but there is nothing anyone will say that can make me to let go of Mew, he loves me and I love him too so please let us be I beg of you my King" Gulf replied

"Shut your mouth up peasant! Mew is the cause of all this, if he didn't marry you..you wouldn't even be anywhere close to me, watch it Gulf..you must leave Mew and I will make sure of that, you're going to be a big problem to my son when he's King and I won't let that happen" the King said angrily

"Sorry to say my King but I will never let anyone come between Mew and I, it's my time to fight for us especially now that we have started our family, I love Mew and no one can take him away from me, I won't be alive to watch that happen" Gulf replied back equally annoyed too.

"We'll see about that, nonsense!!" shouted the King and left.

  Unknown to both of them, someone was present and heard everything they said to each other, the person was surprised that Gulf could talk in that manner to the King but didn't put much thought in it and left after all everyone knows that Gulf is not a dangerous person.
