"No way, Sky? What a coincidence." he smiled with his hand resting in his pocket, as I turned to look at Lucas who was as shocked as I was.

"You two know each other?" Will asked.

"Barely, we met at the base in Italy." I explained.

"Hey, I'm Carter." he said, greeting Nick with a handshake as all of the boys did, paired with an introduction.

"Well it's nice to meet you all." he replied.

"So you've known about the mafia all this time?" Jamie asked as they'd begun a conversation.

"Yeah, my Dad brought me up with it. It's weird to think that you guys only just found out, I didn't even realise that my Dad's friends had kids my age."

"So if you've been training with them for your entire life then you must be a pretty good fighter." Ryan exclaimed, moving the conversation backwards.

"Yeah, I guess I'm okay." he shrugged.

"You may even be able to give Carter a run for his money." Ryan smirked towards my brother, who wasn't particularly happy with that comment.

"Maybe. Are you a good fighter Carter?" Nick asked.

"I'm alright." he shrugged, not wanting to come across as overconfident.

"He's the best. You guys should totally fight each other!" Ryan exclaimed with a bright smile gracing his face.

"That's not a good idea..." I said.

"Sure, why not?" Nick smiled.

"You're on." Carter sniggered. "Next training session, you're going down."

"We'll see about that Eastwood." Nick laughed.

He'd been in our house one minute and they were already agreeing to fight. Great.

"Speaking of training, Nick, you should be glad to know that these guys are just starting out, meaning you won't be the lonely new guy. Same goes for school." Will explained before following my parents through to the kitchen.

"Wait, you're enrolling at our high school?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess so. Dad wanted us to move back to America before I go to college. Although I suppose it's not the best time to join, halfway through junior year." he shrugged.

"Oh you're in junior year? That's the same as Leanne!" I exclaimed.

"Who's-" Nick began.

"That's awesome dude!" Ryan interrupted, man hugging him in an intrusive, yet very 'Ryan-like' way.

"Don't worry, we'll take care of you." Carter laughed.

"Oh, I was also wondering if you guys have a good football programme over here? I was wanting to join the team." Nick explained.

"Yeah, we have a great programme. You'll fit right in!" Carter said, slapping Nick on the back in a friendly manner.

"Carter's the captain." I added.

"Yeah, me and Ryan are on the team too!" Lucas smiled.

"Along with Skylar's dick of a boyfriend." my brother added, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, thanks Carter." I said sarcastically, looking down at my feet.

"You have a boyfriend? Doesn't sound like he's too popular around here." Nick chuckled.

"He's not." Lucas agreed.

"Don't worry, you'll see why when you meet him." Carter continued, placing his hand on Nick's shoulder.
