Skylar's POV

After the hellish journey to school, the girls and I went to watch football practice at the end of the day as we usually did.

It was nice to see that Nick had made it onto the team and was now making friends with his teammates. I also noticed that he and Carter seemed to be getting closer.

I had a sense that they would, seeing as they can relate to each other a little more than the others. Both Nick and Carter were exceptional fighters, who took it incredibly seriously and you could tell that in training.

They were also the only two of the boys who had mafia leaders as fathers. They were the only two likely to takeover the mafia from our father's.

If I'm honest, I think Nick is most likely to takeover, seeing as he's been focused on that since he was born. Carter's equally as good as him, but with less experience.

Who knows? Maybe they'll just do what our Dad's did and run it together.

Having that, gave them some common ground which the other boys didn't really have. Yes Blade is still involved but he isn't a leader and there seems to be a big difference. Not that it bothered Jamie or the twins though.

About 5 minutes after training began, Leanne tapped me on the shoulder.

"Look, Jamie's here." she smiled.

I turned to see Jamie at the bottom of the bleachers with his arm wrapped around Hope's waist.

"Jamie, Hope, over here!" Hailey shouted, beckoning them over to us as they realised and began walking over to us.

Hope must be one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. I honestly don't know how Jamie managed to convince her to be his girlfriend.

I believe that her father was born in Africa with her Mom being Canadian. She has gorgeous brown curls with caramel highlights and jade green eyes paired with natural lips that even Angelina Jolie would kill for.

And if that wasn't enough, she's also just as lovely on the inside. She's honestly one of the sweetest girls in the world and Jamie couldn't have found a more perfect girl if he'd tried.

"Hey girls!" Hope smiled as she hugged each of us before the two of them sat down beside us.

"We weren't expecting to see you two here today." Leanne said.

"Yeah we just wanted to stop by to see the boys practice. I need to make sure they aren't completely destroying my team." Jamie replied, referring to the fact that he was football captain before he graduated and Carter took over from him.

"Does this mean you're coming back to our house, Hope?" I asked.

"Well I think we're going to head back to Jamie's first if that's alright with you guys. Of course he had to go and get himself grounded at 19 years old." She laughed.

"Yeah." we all laughed, trying to hide the fact that that was not the case at all.

"Lucky for you that all of our parents adore you." Hailey said.

"Yeah they like you more than they like us." Leanne chuckled.

"You know that's not true." she replied.

"Well we'd love to join you but Lee and I are both going to head straight home after practice today. Mrs P gave me a mountain of Biology homework this afternoon." Hailey sighed.

Although it was a common occurrence for everyone to take refuge at my house after school, the girls tend to stay in their own homes a lot more than the boys do.
