The golden trio wandered into my office just as I was straightening out some papers,

"Hey," I said waving them over, "how are you guys holding up?" I asked and they looked at each other,

"Honestly we're exhausted," Harry said,

"And shocked, man you're friends with Snape?" Ron said and I grinned,

"Remember those two camps we used to talk about?" I asked and they nodded, "Snape went to one," I said and they gaped,

"Snape? He went to a muggle camp?" Ron exclaimed and I crossed my arms jokingly,

"Now why is that so shocking?" I asked seemingly offended, "I went to muggle camps,"

"Well I want to know what to expect from your class," Hermione said huffing and crossing her arms and I laughed, "There was no book listed for this class so how are we going to learn?"

"You'll just have to wait and see," I winked at her causing her to huff again, "And anyway shouldn't we be getting to the big hall? I get to sit at the teacher table this year," I said shoving them all out of my office and locking it behind me. The normal ceremony went on and Snape got up for the yearly announcements,

"Hello students, the first order of business is the new teaching potions, Percy Jackson," He gestured to me and I smirked at him, "Is now the head of the Slytherin house, and Professor of a mandatory class, all students from year 1-8 will be taking his class so I suggest you get used to his face. I understand that he was a student and many of you will have the temptation to treat him as such, but I suggest that you don't, or I will personally deal with you," Snape sneered and I stood up as he offered me the podium

"Umm hi?" I asked you could literally hear the crickets, "So, I guess I'm your new teacher, I was sort of blackmailed into this position," I said chuckling, I cleared my throat, "A lot of you are wondering what I would teach that would be mandatory? Well let's just say it's a version of PE," I said and sat back down causing all the pure-bloods to mummer and question what PE was. Dinner was nice, I chatted to Hagrid and Snape, I didn't want to admit it but I really missed the team, especially ... I sighed and got up, I made my way to the Slytherin common room calling everyone for a meeting, I smiled at all my old friends,

"The war was tough and wearing on everyone, especially the Slytherin house, who has been deemed the 'villain house'" I started and mummers went around the room, and I sighed, "Yes I know that all of you have heard the rumors about me and I would like to say yes, I am the grandson of Voldemort, and yes I did fight against him in the war." I looked around making eye contact with each of them, "Hero or villain this war has caused you to suffer, the entire wizarding world has suffered, but. This year, focus on this year, not the past, not the future, focus on today, take it step by step, don't rush it." I said and then I stood up, "Get ready for bed, you have classes tomorrow,"

"Percy!" Draco called as the crowd started to disperse, I chuckled and wrapped him in a hug,

"Hey man," I said

"You seem better than last time," He said and I nodded,

"I feel better," I said honestly,

"Will-will I ever get better?" He asked and I nodded,

"You will," I said and I nudged Draco a bit, "and now you can finally go after Harry," He blushed,

"w-w-what are you talking about," He spluttered, and I chuckled,

"Oh please it's obvious," I said and he glared at me and I rolled my eyes, "Fine Hermione told me," I said

"Of course she did," Draco muttered, "Little minx is too smart for her own good,"

"I was told that Harry and Ginny didn't work out..." I prompted and Draco hummed turning to go up the stairs,

"I'll think about it," He said and I smirked, knowing that he was going to do more than think about it'

"I want best man rights!" I called after him causing people to turn and him to trip.

"Now, what am I going to teach?" I muttered walking out of the room.
