CH 5 WHY DOES EVERYONE KNOW ME!

"I'm Aang, and this is Sokka and Katara," The youngest said

"I'm Percy," I said, "Do you live in the woods?"

"No, were traveling, when we heard of the two swirling waters and thought we'd take a look," Katara said

"There's two!" I asked, there might be a way to get me home back!

"Yep, but it's in fire kingdom," Aang said and my excitement dropped,

"What's wrong with fire kingdom territory?" I asked

"We're sort of the fire kingdom," Sakka said and I stared at him, then shook my head,

"Cool, so how do I get there?"

"You're not going to ask why?" Katana said peering at me, I pulled out and twirled riptide,

"I can take care of myself if it comes down to a fight," I said peering at them, the looked away. I knew that they were children, but demigods are children too when they come to camp, I'd be gentle with them, but if I needed to get away, I could get away. They looked at each other again, then Sakka started laughing,

"You? You think you could take down the Avatar?" He laughed and I nodded still spinning riptide.

"But I don't think that will be necessary," I smiled putting away Riptide, "Right, so how do I get to this Fire Kingdom?" I asked

"I believe that I could show you the way," A voice said from behind us, I turned around seeing a boy with a scar on his face sitting with an older man on some kind of... mammoth? Behind me, they clambered to their feet getting ready for a fight. I sat awkwardly in between them,

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I'll take you to the Fire Kingdom," He repeated

"Cool, thanks," I said brushing off my pants,

"Wait, Percy doesn't go with them," Aang said,

"Why not?" I asked

"Well, I'd love to chat, but let's talk about payment first, you seemed to think you could take these three on," The boy with a scar on his face said and I looked around at them and nodded, "Well then, if you bring him," he pointed Aang, "to me, then I'll take you to the Fire Kingdom," I snorted, and pointed to Aang,

"You want me, to bring you him," I repeated and the boy nodded, and I laughed again, "He's right here," I said settling down on the ground, "Why don't you take him?" Everyone looked at me shooked,

"Fine," The boy said, "Then I will," The boy got into a funny stance,

"Wait Zuko," The old man said hopping off the mammoth,

"What?" The boy- Zuko asked, but the old man had turned to me,

"Your last name wouldn't be Jackson would it?" He asked and I tensed my jaw clenching,

"That's right, what's it to you?" I asked feeling on edge, suddenly the old man bowed to me,

"Aww not again," I groaned rolling over to my back, everyone looked at me shocked,

"What? Why is he bowing to you?!" Saka yelled and I groaned again. I thought I was in a different world! There is no way Nico beat me here so how... my attention drifted back to the old man, who Zuko was yelling at to get up, and the old man was yelling at Zuko to get down after the old man had raised his voice Zuko had jumped off of the mammoth, but he still had not bowed, "Just stop bowing would ya?" I asked the Uncle and he rose, "Now how do you know me?" I asked.

"Would you like some tea? It's good for your health, and I can explain over a cup," The old man said and I nodded,

"Yeah that would be nice," I said getting up and walking over to him, I helped him up as well and we walked back to the mammoth with him, "I don't really get much tea," I said and he chuckled

"Ohh it's really good, and it can have healing properties too," He said,

"Uncle!" Zuko called, and the older man waved his hand,

"Don't mind him, he'll settle down after he's fought a bit," The uncle said, "Oh I haven't introduced myself, I'm Iroh," He said and I smiled

"Percy, it's nice to meet you," I said and Iroh chuckled,

"Oh, the pleasure is all mine,"

"Wait up I want tea!" Aang said running to catch up with us,

"Oh me too!" Sakka said,

"No Avatar! Fight me!" Zuko cried, and Aang looked back,

"No thank you, I want to know how you're Uncle knows Percy!" Aang said and Iroh laughed, "You can fight later Zuko, come sit with us," 

Hi! It's me! I'm updating at 12:40 am because it's technically updating day and I don't really have the patience to wait. So here you go, I realize it may be shorter, but I have also realized that my average word count is about 1000 which means 100-200 words less isn't that big of a deal in that grand scheme of things and as such now that I've released this instead of aiming for 1000 words I am now aiming for approximately 1000 words. Well that's enough of my 'mindless chatter', as they say, I hope you've enjoyed my update even if its a wee bit early
