Chapter 33

Chunmei's POV

The door of my room bangs open, jolting me awake. What a wonderful way to start the day. My absolute favorite person yelling at me.

As expected, the person standing in the doorway is none other than my crazy psychopathic sister, Chunli, probably here with some kind of "very important message" that she just had to interrupt my sleep for.

Like, excuse me, but I kind of still have jet lag. I've only been here for, like, a little less than a week. I sit up in bed and rub my eyes, still half asleep.

"I'm heading out now, don't do anything stupid while I'm gone," my sister informs me in an unnecessarily loud voice, then rudely slams the door shut.

"Someone's feeling aggressive today," I mutter to myself, throwing off my blanket. I might as well get up now that I'm awake.

As I get ready, I go over the events of the past three days. I've learned a lot about Winwin, and I'm proud to say, almost none of it is from the internet. It's been a lot of fun. Mornings at the coffee place with Winwin are probably the best part of my day.

Oh, and I've been learning about the rest of WayV, too. They're quite a cool group, and I'm pretty upset about not finding them sooner, but it's better now than never.

One of the pieces of information I learned was the fact that Chunli is WayV's stylist. I mean, I wasn't too surprised. It does make quite a bit of sense.

And, knowing her, she's got some ulterior motive, probably to bother Winwin or something. Actually, it's definitely to bother Winwin or try and get back with him or something.

Wait. That must be where she's going now. How did I forget that date on her calendar? I even told Winwin about it beforehand!

"Dang it, I should've stopped her while I still could," I mutter, a little disappointed in myself. "I'll do it next time or something."

I'm seriously concerned for Winwin.

~Time Skip~

It's been a few hours. What have I done, you may ask? Nothing except for worry, stress, think, contemplate the meaning of life, listen to music... Yeah, I haven't been very productive.

Just as I'm debating whether or not I should go study or something, my phone pings with a notification. And, to make things even better, it's Winwin.

And the best part of all is, it's good news.
