Chunmei's POV

You know, I've only been here for about an hour, but I can already tell that there's so much to this group that I don't know yet. Everything they do seems to have some kind of significance behind it. I'll never be bored.

For example, the way that Winwin and Kun exchanged looks when Yangyang was suggesting a dance party. That probably has some kind of funny story behind it.

Anyways, apparently, we're watching Netflix or something right now. I don't usually watch, but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. I am with WayV, after all.

"I'm claiming this spot!" Yangyang exclaims, throwing himself onto the couch. Xiaojun, Hendery, Lucas, and Ten follow, leaving Winwin, Kun, and I to sit down in a more civil way. Wow, they have a big couch, for a big group.

"So, what are we watching?" Xiaojun asks, grabbing the remote before anyone else can get to it.

"I don't know, but you have the remote, so just pick something or give it to someone else," Kun responds with a shrug.

"Okay, then..." Xiaojun, for some reason, closes his eyes and then starts randomly pressing on the arrow buttons until his thumb hits the "Enter" button.

I look up at the screen to see some kind of horror movie displayed on the screen. Xiaojun seems surprised, too, then announces, "Looks like fate has made its decision!"

I catch the expressions of some of the others, who all look like they're kind of scared but obviously aren't going to admit it. A very accurate representation of what I'm feeling right now.

"Wait, what is this movie?" Winwin asks, eyeing the screen.

"Oh, it's just a Halloween movie, nothing intense," Hendery responds. Does he really have to trick Winwin into watching this? Because it's obviously not a Halloween movie at all.

"So... okay, bonding activity? Let's go," Kun finally agrees, as Xiaojun plays it. This is going to be very, very interesting...

Within the first few minutes, I can already tell that it's going to be very hard to mask my fear.

The first jump scare isn't too bad. The rest of the group doesn't even flinch, while I jump a little but manage to recompose myself and pretend like nothing happened.

They progressively get worse, and I have a feeling that moment is going to come when I embarrass myself and never hear the end of it for the rest of my life.

Turns out, almost everyone else is just as bad at watching these as I am.

The exception is Yangyang, who, to my great surprise, is actually not scared of these at all. Not what I expected. Where did he get that courage from?

While, on the other hand, Ten left about ten minutes in and spent almost half an hour in the kitchen "making popcorn". Then he came back and proceeded to almost drop all of it out of fear.

I feel like Winwin doesn't exactly like these, either, but is trying to act like he's okay with them. He's masking his fear pretty well right now.

"Oh my god!" I exclaim at the same time as Ten as some kind of - what even is that - pops up on the screen. I jump and grab on to the nearest thing, which happens to be Winwin's arm. Scratch my pride and dignity, I'm not letting to.

I hear him chuckle and feel my face heat up. Well, this is quite embarrassing, but that's fine. Plus, almost everyone else is also terrified, so it's not like I'm the only one.

At the next scene, I feel Winwin jolt. Yeah, he's definitely scared, but I shouldn't be speaking. I swear I can hear both of our hearts pounding in sync, but it might just be mine.

"Oh f- Fishy fishy!" Ten shrieks at the top of his lungs. I jolt and bury my face behind Winwin, terrified as Ten proceeds to repeat, "Fishy fish fishy! Oh my god, Mr. Fish!"

Turns out the scare wasn't even that bad, but Ten's scream was definitely the thing that got me. Oh, and also, the rest of WayV saw me hiding behind Winwin, so I'm never living this down.

Once I figure calm down and finally realize what Ten barely avoided saying, we spend a good five minutes laughing at him until some kind of weird creature pops up on the screen, making us all scream and then fall silent.

Winwin, who's also scared of the movie, ends up holding onto me, too, which is totally understandable because we are watching a horror movie.

I really like the feeling of holding onto him. He seems very stable. But I'm too terrified to think about my feelings right now.

For the rest of the movie, I end up basically clinging onto Winwin and hiding behind him. What a wonderful afternoon this is.
