Winwin's POV

Well, this isn't exactly comforting. We're alone, in a room with two evil psychopaths, and they just happen to want to murder us.

"So... how are you all?" Yangyang asks, breaking the awkward silence as we all sit down at the table. Then he corrects himself, "Sorry, I meant, are you ready go to your own funerals?"

"How do you think we are?" Chunli shoots back immediately, completely ignoring the second part, probably due to lack of a good comeback. "I can't believe you, Chunmei. I care for you, give you a place to live, food to eat, and this is how you repay me?"

Before any of us can answer, I hear the door open and turn my head to see a well-dressed lady entering the room. The CEO.

"Good afternoon to all of you," she begins, placing her laptop in the table and settling down in the remaining chair. Since when did the CEO speak Chinese? "I take it that you all are the people involved?"

"Yes ma'am, WayV, Chunmei, our stylist, and our manager," is Kun's immediate response. The amount of respect this guy possesses is insane.

The CEO nods. "Good, good. So, can you all give me a rundown of what has been happening recently? Yang Chunli, you may begin."

Chunli nods and opens her mouth to speak - or rather, to tell a big fat lie. "I'm simply the stylist for WayV. I've been here for only a week or two, and both interactions I've had with the group have been quite unpleasant. Uh, they were, well, being rude." Shouldn't have stuttered, Chunli, you shouldn't have done that.

She then sits back down. The CEO raises an eyebrow at her questionably short response, but gestures for our manager to speak.

"This stylist came to me and complained about the behavior of WayV. I simply gave them a light scolding about having manners." He also takes a seat.

The CEO's expression tells me that she's not satisfied with these explanations. They're way too short and broad, and that's because they're both complete lies.

Now Kun stands up to speak. I feel like he's going to go into a full-on monologue, judging from the speech that he was reciting earlier in the dorm.

"So, first, I'm going to let Winwin tell you about who Chunli is," he begins, gesturing for me to stand up and speak for myself. I didn't expect that, but I'd better speak.

I swallow my nervousness, stand up, and get ready to speak. "Chunli is my ex girlfriend. About a year ago, we broke up because she was manipulative. For unknown reasons, she came back a week or two ago, got hired as a stylist, and is trying to force me into taking her back. And this right here is Chunmei, her sister who's been dragged along against her will."

I kind of wanted to say, "She's a crazy psychopath who needs to shut her dumdum bubblegum crusty dusty musty rusty mouth up", but that wouldn't have been professional, would it?

Kun gives me an encouraging smile and continues the story. "We've also invited Chunmei to our dorms to protect her from her sister. Oh, and by the way, she's not actually Yangyang's sister, that was just impromptu.

So our manager isn't doing his job right, our stylist is manipulative and only in it for Winwin's attention, and so we got fed up and went for the VLIVE option. Again, I apologize for saying this publicly," he summarizes at last.

"Chunmei, can you testify that all of this is true?" the CEO asks, turning her attention to the Chinese girl to my left.

"Yes, I can," Chunmei responds.

"Alright, I think I've heard enough," she responds, sitting up straighter in her chair. Wow, that wasn't a lot of information that she gathered.

There's a very long silence, void of any sounds except for the clacking of a keyboard.

Then the CEO turns her head to look at Chunli and our manager.

"You two are fired."
