Chunmei's POV

Why am I actually kind of low-key nervous right now? Everything that Chaemin said really got to me. Is he actually going to ask me to be his girlfriend? But he couldn't even like me in the first place, right? Right.

I decide to just stop overthinking and go like normal. Come on, I've done this a million times already, that first week in Korea. Every single morning, I went to the same place. It's not that hard to do it again.

Then again, everything is completely different now. I like him, and that's going to be hard to hide, especially if it's just the two of us. WayV is always being loud and occupying Winwin's attention so it makes things less awkward, except they won't be with us, third wheeling or anything along the lines of that.

I'll just focus on how much I've missed the place. Yeah, that's definitely gonna work.

"You ready?" Winwin asks, poking his head into the room. I nod, leaving my phone on the bed and exiting the room.

We pull on our shoes and slip into our winter coats, and after Winwin tells Kun that we're going to be out for a while, we get into the elevator on our way down.

The silence isn't an awkward one, it's quite comfortable. I don't know why, but I'm getting a lot of nervous vibes from Winwin right now. Kind of strange. I wonder if he has something up his sleeve, something planned.

I could bet that he does.

Yeah, probably not. I've been imagining so many things today.

"Remember the last time we were here?" I ask as we stroll down the familiar street, getting nearer and nearer to the shop.

Winwin laughs. "Yeah, we had to hide in between those buildings right there and then get home without anyone seeing our faces." I glance to the side, laughing along as I remember it.

And you gave me your really warm coat because I didn't have a hood to hide my face. Oh, and you also held my hand so that we wouldn't get separated, I think, but obviously don't say aloud. That would be really embarrassing.

Soon we reach the glass doors. Winwin opens them for me, and we both step inside. The familiar smell of fresh brewed coffee wafting through the air, the familiar warmth, even the familiar worker behind the counter. Wow, I definitely did miss this place.

"It's been a long time," Winwin laughs. "Come on, let's go order. I'll pay."

I nod, trying to control myself from getting completely flustered. Did he just offer to pay for me, like a date? Chaemin and her texts really are getting to me, because this looks like a date to me, and I don't think it's actually one.

"Wait, I may or may not have forgotten how to order in Korean during the time we haven't been here," I realize as we approach the counter, my mind blanking out.

Winwin laughs. "It's alright, I'll order for you."

After asking for the normal stuff, we take a seat at the normal table, the normal waiter serves us, and we start talking. Normally.

It's just like old times,  until...

"Wait, Chunmei, I have something to say."
