Kyoka awoke earlier than she expected. Ochako sure knew how to hyper her up during their training, unfortunately, it often came at the expense of her body. She at up, her abdominal muscles aching from the previous days activities. As she sat, she thought of Vanguard's message.

"Pillars, to hold up the bridge. Easily replaced if need be, but firm and resilient."

That sounded right up her alley, but she worried that her performance wouldn't win her a spot. She had been working her ass off. Hand to hand fighting, grappling, running, calisthenics. Still, she got man handled so easy, but what was she expecting? To hold her own against Izuku Midoriya? The guy who defeated a horde of villains and a biological abomination? Granted, he had help form Kaminari, but it was mostly him.

Kyoka forced herself from her bed and through the monotonous actions of the early morning. After slipping on her shoes, the door bell rang.

"Right on time."

She opened the door to see Ochako standing there an excited look on her face. Such had been the norm for the past month and some change. Interesting enough, She wore her hair down today.

"Hey, Kyoka!!" She beamed.

Kyoka flushed.

"How could she be so happy to see me? All the time??"

Ochako leaned frantically from side to side.

"Today's the day!! Midoriya is gonna pick his team members in home room!!!"

"Yeah." Kyoka shuddered.

The two began their commute. The ride was unusually quiet. Kyoka had been lost in thought, though she was becoming more and more aware of the relative silence. She then noticed Ochako staring at her. She flushed. Ochako blushed in response to getting caught, only then did she speak.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine."

"Sure, but are you, really?" Ochako pressed.

Kyoka sighed.

"What's this about?"

Ochako took a pause before continuing.

"Ever since the peephole incident, you've been even more reserved than usual. I don't mean to be presumptuous, but I think it really got to ya."

Kyoka took a breath.

"I guess it did. I know that you said I looked nice-"

"I didn't say that you looked nice, I said you're hot!" Ochako interrupted.

The conversation paused and the two blushed furiously.

"Yeah. I couldn't help but feel that I'm blind too. I just dont see it."

"Well, there are many ways to be beautiful. It's not just about your body or your face. There's your personality, how you treat others and how you carry yourself." Ochako reasoned.

"No you don't have the curviest figure, or the largest chest, but youve got alluring eyes, amazing hair and a massive heart."

Kyoka trembled.

"No one has complimented me like that in my life. The closest thing to a compliment I've gotten was the title of best Spotify playlist in the yearbook."

"I thought that was a given."

The two girls keeled over in laughter.

"Kyoka, trust me, you're beautiful on all levels."
