I let out an irritated sigh as I shuffle into the english classroom, slumping down into my seat with an unimpressed expression. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." my desk-mate and close friend Jack giggles as I sit grumpily beside him.

I roll my eyes and shrug defeatedly. "Is it that obvious?" I huff with a small smile. The golden lab nods his head and grins widely, "Yes, extremely," he says with a smirk "what's got you down?" he questions. I roll my eyes as I sit up properly in my seat.

"Just drama club stuff," I mumble, writing off the question. Jacks face almost immediately contorts into a look of a sudden concern at my statement. "Your friend hasn't done anything wrong, don't worry," I clarify with a giggle, realising Jack thought I meant something bad about Legoshi had again occurred. He sighs with relief and manages to crack a smile.

"Then what 'stuff' is the matter?" he quizzes, making finger quotes around the 'stuff' part. I suppose he doesn't appreciate my improper english, I guess that makes sense for the lesson we're currently in.

"They're hosting some separate meeting for the girls of the club to get to know each other, or some rubbish like that." I explain with an irritated scowl. Jack also recoils at the suggestion with a questionable expression. "That's a little strange," he starts "whats even the point in that?" he thinks aloud.

"My question exactly." I remark sarcastically, paying no attention to the actual lesson. "So I take it you're not going?" Jack asks, rapidly writing down nearly every word the teacher says. "I wish, I told my friend Els I'd go." I scoff, regretting my agreement.

Jack giggles and shakes his head, making his ears wave about. "Well I'm sure you'll have fun." he smirks sarcastically. "Thanks." I again roll my eyes, finally deciding to tune in to what the teacher is saying as the day drags on.

"(Y/N) you made it!" I hear Els chime ecstatically as I begrudgingly enter the club building for their strange meeting. I nod my head and force a smile as she dashes over to me, wrapping me in a quick hug as she giggles.

"Of course I did!" I retort, trying to match her enthusiasm. She again grins with child-like delight as she drags me over to the rest of the group. Immediately my stomach drops as the weight of the situation dawns on me.
I have to be sociable.

Trudging over to the middle of the hall there's a group of all the girls sat in one big huddle on the floor, all laughing and smiling. 'Gross' I can't help but think, pulling a distorted expression to match.
