.April 14th.
•~(Y/N) P.O.V.~• Soon Monday had rolled around once again. Brilliant. I was woken up as usual to the ear splitting beep of Mayumi's alarm clock. Seven am, time to get up and at 'em. As I peeked out from my bunk curtain I could see all the girls were already up and getting dressed, guess a few minutes passed while I was sat stretching.
I reluctantly got up from my bed and again stretched my arms over my head, cracking my knuckles as I stood up to retrieve my uniform from the closet. "Good morning (Y/N)!" Taka the raccoon-dog smiles as she notices me creep out from my bed. "Mornin'" I nod, grabbing my skirt and shirt.
"So what's our plans for today folks?" Ethne asks as she straightens her neck bow, I shrug as I pull my shirt down over my torso. "Uhh not a lot besides lesson, and maybe a club meeting at some point." I sigh making Mayumi giggle. "Oh the bores of life hey (Y/N)?" she teases "If we aren't up to a lot then let's agree to meet at lunch again like we did last week yeah?" she suggests as the rest of us nod our heads in agreement. "And who knows maybe Jack will swing by too." she adds which gets me thinking.
Jack had seemed off around me since the end of Saturday. I don't know if it was something I said or what but he quickly ran off at the end of the day when we returned to campus, and blanked me when I saw him on Sunday. Strange, maybe he'll be back to his usual self when I see him in english.
Before we knew it it was time for our first lesson of the day as we all head down the dormbuildings stairs, shoes clicking as we went. Mayumi and I had sea-speak together while Taka and Ethne split off to their respective lessons. "Excited (Y/N)?" she asks as we push our way through the corridors, dodging larger students such as elephants as we go. "Oh boy am I-" I giggle sarcastically. "I mean I guess sea-speak isn't that bad." I shrug to which Mayumi nods. "Let's just get it over and done with." She sighs as we enter the classroom, "Sounds good to me." I chuff.

English rolled around pretty quickly and it was time to see Jack. 'I hope he's feeling better and things are back to normal' I think to myself as I enter the back of the classroom, scanning the room to see him already sat at our desk with his notebook out that we bought on Saturday.
I nod and head over to the desk as I take the seat next to him. "Morning Jack," I smile, pulling out my same notebook and pens. "Morning," he grins casually, turning to face me. "How was sea-speak?" he asks as he spins a pen around his fingers. I sigh with relief as I look at him, normal again, thank god.
"Boring as usual," I chuckle as I roll my eyes. "How was chemistry?" I question, referring to his first lesson. "Oh god not good," he giggles, raising his eyebrows. "What? Why?" I wonder as he ducks his head closer to me, whispering so no one listens in. "You know Jiro?" he says, referring to a rhino student who was also in our english class. I nod as he continues "He somehow caused a pretty big explosion at the back of the room-" he starts making me gasp as he tells the story. "We all had to flee the room I'm surprised the whole school didn't need to head out," he grimaces "We weren't even doing an experiment!" Jack exclaims making us both laugh pretty loud.
"You two! Quiet!" Our teacher shouts at us making us realise she'd entered the room. The older zebra glares at us as she hands out the task papers for today. Jack and I shoot each other a glance out of the corners of our eyes and again giggle as the lesson begins.

"Ugghh, that was sooo boring." Jack groans as we finally leave the English classroom, I roll my eyes as we wait outside. "I thought you liked lessons." I shrug as the labrador shakes his head. "Being good in them does not equal liking them." He sasses making us both grin.
"Are we waiting here for the girls again?" he asks as we lean up against the corridor wall, I nod and check my phone for any messages from them. There's one from Mayumi- "Yeah, apparently they're on their way here now." I explain to Jack as we wait. "Woo, I'm starving, I hope todays menu is good." he thinks out loud as other students barge past us. "I hope so too, I need some good food to get me going again." I smirk as I hear the familiar click of my roommates shoes heading up the hallway.
"There you are!" Taka exclaims as she jogs up to us, smiling as Ethne and Mayumi follow behind her. "Is it lunch time then ladies?" Ethne giggles, looking at Jack and nodding her head ", and gent." she ads to which he smirks. "Damn right it is," Mayumi chuffs as we all start walking to the caferteria. "Yeah I need something ASAP." I half joke as we enter the large building.
We take our usual seat, well I say usual, we only sat here once last week, but we take the same table none the less. This time I sit next to Mayumi as Ethne and Jack sit together with Taka on the end. We all put our bags onto our seats to hold our places as we join the queue. "What's the carnivore lunch for today?" Jack questions, trying to see the menu board as a giraffe student stands in the way. "It's a bean steak with corn bread, I read the menu as we came in." Ethne informs us. "Oh thanks!" Jack grins to the girl.
Luckily the line doesn't take long and we're back at our table within minutes as Taka starts digging in immediately. "So-" Mayumi begins between bites, "Anyone got any news?" she asks, I shake my head no. "I heard there was an explosion in the chemistry labs." Ethne says as she raises her eyebrows, both me and Jack snigger as she mentions it. "What's so funny?" she questions defensively as Jack begins to tell the story about Jiro again.
Suddenly there's an outburst behind us as Jack was in the middle of explaining the chemistry lab story. "Hey! Watch it you!" a masculine voice shouts, we turn around and see a fox student stood snarling at a hyena, their plates of food fallen to the ground in front of them. "What do you mean me?" The hyena retorts "You watch where you're going!" he barks, baring his teeth at the red fox. Oh no.
Soon it's a full blown fight with the two students shouting hurtful words back and forth, their fangs show as their faces scrunch into various angry expressions. Panic starts to set in among herbivore students as they all rush to leave the canteen. We all look to each other as the scene continues, completely frozen on what to do, until suddenly another voice speaks up in a panic stricken tone.
"Just stop it!" The familiar male voice shouts as we again turn our heads. It's Legoshi? and he's stood between the two fighting students, his face disgruntled and uncomfortable as bullets of sweat frame his face. Oh goodness.
"Who do you think you are huh!" The fox shouts "Yeah you want a piece of this!" the hyena joins, seemingly now teaming up with the fox against poor Legoshi. Jack and I look to each other with a face just as worried as our wolf friends, Jack shook his head and quickly got up from his seat. "Uhh (Y/N) you stay here!" he blurts out in a hurry "I-I'll be back in a minute guys!" He exclaims worriedly as he rushes over to Legoshi...
