•~(Y/N) P.O.V.~•
Eventually I reach the girls dorm block, it was further away than the tiger had made it seem, this campus is massive! Maybe it would be worth picking up a skateboard to get around with. I shrug my shoulders as I enter the main doors, on the first floor is what seems to be a meeting room with a cork board by the door. On it is a wash schedule and dorm rules, including kitchen open times and policies, and general washroom etiquette. I smile as I read a series of notes left by girls who live here, theres little drawings and happy birthday messages posted all over the board, how sweet.
Turning on my heel I head for the staircase, '312, that means I must be third floor' I think to myself as I climb the seemingly never ending stairs. Having passed floors one and two I finally reach the floor labelled with a large '3'. Peeking my head round the corner to check if the corridor is empty I begin to walk down it, reading the door numbers as I go. '309, 310, 311, ah 312!' I grin and I push the key into the door, turning it I discover the door is already unlocked. Huh? That's strange, headmaster Gon said my roommates would still be in class, they wouldn't leave their door unlocked would they? Anyone could come in and steal their stuff!
Slowly I swing the door open and look around, standing in the door frame. I hear some shuffling as a smaller blonde raccoon-dog sticks her head out from the top left bunk. "Oh!" She exclaims as she hops down from the raised bed. She wears a large black jumper that shrouds her tiny frame, the fabric falling at her knees. 'That does not fit her at all' I think to myself as she walks up to me. "Hi there," she smiles, standing in front of me, I look down at her and grin with a puzzled look. "You must be (Y/N) I take it?" She asks, tilting her head as she gazes up at me. I nod as she walks back inside the box like dorm.
"Well come on in!" she welcomes me, hopping back up to her bed and hanging her legs over the edge. I walk in and look around, there is four bunks, two on each side with curtains covering across them for privacy. 'This must be one of the smaller rooms' I note as I place my bag on the floor. "The bottom left one is yours," the raccoon-dog says, watching me as I stand in the rooms centre. The bottom left bunk is the one below hers, I suppose the larger animals sleep at the base beds while the shorter ones stay up top, makes sense. "Wait!" She suddenly shouts, shaking her head. "I haven't even told you my name!" she realises, again calling out, I can already tell she's a lively personality, keeping her voice raised with each joyful word.
"I'm Taka." she beams, finally introducing herself. I grin and nod, moving my bag to my bed and sitting down. "Nice to meet you Taka." I giggle as she kicks her legs like a giddy child. "How come you're not in class?" I ask after a few moments of silence, remembering Gon had told me I'd be the only one in dorm for the next couple hours before the school day ends. Taka shrugs and lays back down on her mattress "I was feeling sick this morning so Ethne and Mayumi made me skip the day." She explains, staring at her bunk ceiling. "You'll get to meet them soon," she smiles, poking her head over the beds edge to look down at me. "They're great, I'm sure we'll all get along." She reassures me, I nod and look back at her.
