•~(Y/N) P.O.V.~• I found myself rudely awakened by the blaring beep of Mayumi's alarm clock. Groaning I turn over and poke my head out of my bunks curtains, looking around I see we'd all had the same reaction, both Taka and Ethne were also peering from their bunks as Mayumi clambered out of hers. "Rise and shine!" she giggles as she stretches her arms over her head, early birds, ugh, I don't get how others can just get up and go in the morning.
I toss my legs over the bed and shakily get up, allowing the blood to rush to my feet so I don't collapse. "So what's today?" Taka asks as she leaps down from the top bunk. "Usual." I yawn as I head to the closets to grab my uniform. Today my schedule consisted of four lessons and two frees, with a drama club meeting at the end of the day. "I have volleyball today so I'll be back late." Ethne yawns as she checks her teeth in the mirror. I nod and grab my skirt and shirt.
"I've got drama so I will be too." I tell them, my roommates smile and Mayumi speaks up. "Are you liking the club so far (Y/N)?" she queries. I shrug as I pack my bag "I mean I've been to one meeting so," I giggle "but yeah, I met this girl called Sheila and her friend Els who are pretty nice." I explain as everyone gets ready, eagerly listening. "Anything else?" Mayumi again asks. "Uh there's another wolf there," I remember "Legoshi I think his name was?" their eyes spark as Taka smiles mischievously. "Ooo a boy wolf huh?" she teases as she elbows my side. I roll my eyes and shake my head "Very funny." I sigh.
We all laugh as we change and prepare to leave for breakfast. Today's carnivore breakfast was scrambled eggs and a bean steak according to the timetable Ethne took, I'd be lying to say I wasn't starving right now, I'm always so hungry in the morning!

Walking out of period five I check my timetable on my phone. Opening the app I look to my lesson six plan, instead of a classroom and a subject it simply says 'Territory Time'. A confused look crosses my face 'Territory Time? What's that?' I think to myself as I click on the text, hoping for more information.
• 'Territory Time occurs two times a week for students at Cherryton. It's a chance to feel at calm with ones natural animal instinct. In the cellar space of the main school building pupils will find a series of rooms, each one specific to the natural needs of a species. The doors are clearly labelled for which species the space caters to. We please ask students to take the time to visit these rooms within a lesson slot. The entrance to the cellar can be found at the back of the library, please find your way there within your allotted times. Thank you. - Gon' •
I shrug as I read the message left by the headmaster, it definitely seems strange but it wouldn't hurt to make a visit. As I made my way to the library I couldn't help but wonder what the wolf room would be like, would it be busy? Or near empty? I'll admit I hadn't seen many other wolves within school, but surely there has to be a few, I just haven't met them yet.
It doesn't take long for me to find the cellar door that looked oddly friendly for an under-school space, I suppose they must have invested in it. Cautiously I descend the stairs, there's some animals conversing in the hallway where all the doors are, now I just have to find mine. Strolling along the seemingly never ending corridor I soon realise the doors are alphabetically ordered, with species like anteaters and bears at the start. I let out a long sigh as the understanding that I have to walk to the very end of this corridor hits me, woohoo.
After a painfully long walk I reach the end of the hall, where to my relief I see the door with the face of a wolf with '狼' written above it. I made it. Taking a deep breath and patting down my uniform I enter the room. There are a few wolves in there, all completely silent. Some sit with their eyes closed, seemingly sleeping, while others sit attentively staring at a bold ring light in the ceilings centre.
Shrugging I find myself at the left of the room on one of the available seats, they're nicely cushioned and comfortable, suitable for a long time spent sitting. After a moment I find myself staring at the peaceful light, it's bright white shine feels mesmerising as I watch it. 'This must be to replicate the moonlight' I think as I find myself in a deep trance, completely unaware of anything around me.
So unaware infact that I don't notice the feeling of the seat beside me sinking with the weight of another animals presence. It takes me a moment to register that there is someone beside me, I only notice as I'm brought out of my trance by a long painful sigh.
Turning my head to the side I see a familiar grey wolf with white fuzz highlighting his face, Legoshi. I smile at him as I see him, realising he has yet to comprehend that I'm next to him. He seemed quite nice as he showed me around the drama club building a couple days ago, I think I'd like to get to know him better. A couple other wolves in the room have begun talking by now, so I know I'm allowed to start a conversation without being kicked out.
"Oh hey Legoshi." I grin as I face him, his ears shoot up as he turns to me with a look of shock, he definitely didn't know I was here. The fumbling boy shakes his head a couple times before managing a nervous smile. I can't help but giggle at him "Sorry to surprise you." I whisper in the mostly quiet wolf room. He shrugs and turns away from me with a pink tint to his cheeks "Uh it's o-okay." he stutters.
"Will I see you at the club later?" I question as Legoshi stares at the light. He doesn't speak, only nods as he taps his foot on the floor, perhaps with nerves. Clearly he doesn't wish to speak with me, so instead I too turn my attention to the radiating moon-like ringed light.
