I stare at the clear liquid that sits in the miniature cup.

"You don't have to drink it, I'm sure there's coke or punch around here somewhere."

I glance at Axel then back at the cup. My hands shakily grab it and brings it up to my mouth. The bitter, medicine like liquid slides down my throat while I shudder in disgust. I immediately begin looking for something to wash this down with.

Axel hands me a bottle of water which I gladly take. "You alright?"

I'm too busy drinking the water to answer. Once the taste is gone I grab Axels hand and bring us towards the dance floor. Usually I would be worried about what everyone is thinking about me, but after today's events I simply no longer care. At least in this moment.

I'm tired of trying to be perfect for everyone just for them to not treat me the same way. So for the night, I am going to have fun, I don't care about the consequences...I think.

I pull the ends of my dress lower to cover my exposed thighs. The dress isn't too short but appropriate for the occasion. My stomach is partially showing which is why I have never worn it before, but I've been feeling less insecure lately.

My hair tickles my back as I swing back and forth

My hair tickles my back as I swing back and forth. I simply curled it since I was in a rush. Plus, I'm not trying to impress anyone. Even though I'm furious at Denver he is still the only man for me. And It'll always be that way.

Axel grabs my hand and spins me around, earning a giggle to escape from my lips. "Have you drunk alcohol before?" He asks before twirling me around again.

"Nope." I inform while regaining my balance.

"Will I get in trouble for this?"

I shake my head. "I'm making my own decision. This has nothing to do with you." I shout over the music.

He has a worried look which I pout at. "I'm having fun."
