Peter's breath was fast and unsteady. I could feel him rushing, his anxiety was radiating into my body. Maybe my siphoning powers are working a bit too well. I could feel his heart beating rapidly.
"Bellona..." I repeated.
"Yes, hurry, she's got Bucky."
I ran after Peter who went running through the corridors to a room I hadn't been in before.
"Bellona stop!" I yelled.
She was using her powers to hold Bucky off the ground and suffocate him. As much as we didn't like each other right now I couldn't risk him being killed by someone I want to trust.
"But y/n... he hurt you," she bellowed tightening her grip.
"Let him down now! I'm over it," I said tugging on her arm.
She looked at me with glassy eyes and Bucky fell down to the floor. He rubbed his neck in agony. Fore he managed to yell at my sister i out my finger up telling him to silence himself.
"Oh y/n, you're okay!" She cupped my face with teary eyes. Her soft hands stroked my cheek.
"Of course I am..." I replied.
She cleared her throat and then took a deep breath. She was about to say something when she looked up and stared at the door behind me.
"Bellona," a familiar voice said from behind me.
"Loki," she replied unenthusiastically.
I turned and saw Loki staring at the girl in black.
"Y/n," he greeted me and I smiled.
"I think we need to talk about how this bitch just tried to kill me," Bucky said approaching me and touching me by the wrist.
"Oh suck it up Barnes, she was just playing with your brain," I replied rolling my eyes. For a super solider he acts like a baby.
I turned back round and faced the hooded girl and snapped her out of this sort of trance.
"Why are you here Bellona?" I asked wearily.
I believed she was my sister and that the story she told me was real but I was still confused how she turned up out of the blue, even the first time she turned up.
"What? Can't a goddess see her sister," she smirked, "is that illegal in this realm?"
I shook my head. By now Loki had moved forward and stood next to me, one of his arms were placed on my back and it sent shivers down my spine. I'm not sure what he was playing at.
"Uh, Miss," Bruce stuttered toward Bellona, "I'm sure my team is all for you being here, but we need to keep you in a cell after you attacked one of our members,"
She took down her hood and turned around to see Bruce who was clearly quite anxious. She stayed calm and nodded her head holding her hands out towards him. Tony attached some cuffs onto her wrists which blocked her from using her powers.
After she was led down the stairs people started to discuss the new comer in the building.
"Tony, Steve, I think you're completely forgetting that it's only been a month or so since we broke a random girl out of a mental hospital and since then we've already had trouble," Bucky sneered.
Wow great, first I was a traitor now I'm a random girl... can it get any worse?
"First we had to go rescue someone from another planet," he added.
"I didn't need saving, tin man," Loki replied cockily.
Bucky rolled his eyes facing back towards our leaders, "we've had security breaches, some witch coming in an attacking me!"
