Chapter 7: It's a YES

Alas 7 pa lang ng umaga ay gising na ako. Para akong pusa na Hindi mapaanak. Hindi mapakali. Siguro sobra lang talaga akong naeexcite. I have this feeling that something good will happen today. I just don't know what exactly it is.

Kahit anong pagbiling at pagbaligtad ang gawin ko sa kama ko ay Hindi na ako makabalik sa pagtulog. Normally, pag ganitong araw ay late akong nagigising. So I have no idea why I'm up at this early hour.

I guess my body just can't contain it's excitement. Parang may sariling isip ang katawan ko na pilit ginigising ang diwa ko at pinagtutulakan akong bumagon.

Since I have no more choice, I got up and headed to the bathroom. Naghilamos lang ako at nagtoothbrush. Bumaba na rin lang ako para kumain. Naabutan ko si Mommy at Daddy na kumakain na rin. Umupo ako sa usual seat ko.

"Good morning parents" ^_^

They both looked at me with a shocked face.

"Mom, Dad, what's with that face? Err, you look like you've seen a ghost"

"Wow, it's a miracle 'ney. You woke up early today."

"I don't even know why dad. I just can't go back to sleep anymore." I said as picked 3 toasted bread, 2 slices of bacon, and an egg. Nagpatimpla na lang rin ako ng hot chocolate. Yun na lang ang kakainin ko.

I looked at my mom.

"Ahm, Mom, do you have any appointments today?"

"No darling, I don't have any. Why?"

"Uh, could you, urgh.."

"What is it 'ney??"

"Can you help me choose a dress 'mmy?"

"Oh, sure thing honey"

And she smiled. I turned red. Si Mommy talaga.

"Mom, dad, I'll go out this afternoon."

"Oh, so, you have a date."

Dad said in a teasing tone as a smile creeps out his lips.

"Dad naman eh .."

I pouted.

"Be sure to be back before 10 pm young lady"

"I will dad, thanks"

Tinapos ko na ang pagkain ko at dumiretso sa sala. Nanood muna ako ng TV. Nang makaramdam naman ako ng pagkabagot ay umakyat ako sa kwarto ko at naghalungkat sa walk-in closet ko.
