the wrong uniform

A new day, no school this week, just him.
He could hear the rain pounding on the window and after looking outside it looked like it had been raining all night.
He had no intention of going outside but still got changed unlike yesterday.

For some reason instead of laying back in bed he sat down at his makeup desk and started applying his makeup.
Ben didn't know why he did this, he just did it. But at this point he didn't mind wearing makeup and now it was like he couldn't live without it, he has only been ellie for a week and a half but has got so used to seeing him wearing makeup, he looks wrong without it.
His mum came in whilst he was doing it.
"Hi ellie, you look pretty today"
"Thanks"
This was strange to him, he actually meant it, he liked it when people called him pretty, what was going on.
"So, I'm going to get my hair done at Janice's work and I need tou to come with me"
"But mum its chucking it down"
"I know, but we need to get your bridesmaids dress, and janice said she would make your hair look a bit more feminine"
He had to go out, although he didn't want to he had to, so quickly finished, got his coat and they left.

When they got there, janice and Ben's mum started talking and then janice told ben to sit in a chair.
First she washed his hair then styled it.
It seemed to take forever but when he was done he was amazed.

Still short, but looked longer, a short hair style but a cute one.
"So, what do you think" asked janice
Ben didn't know of he liked it or not, he looked very pretty but also it was very feminine, but at this point why not go all out.
"I love it, thanks so much" he squealed in a high pitch voice, almost sounding like a girl.
"Aw, I knew you would"
His mum had also finished and looked at him so proud.
"Aw ellie, your such a pretty girl" she said.
Ben couldn't disagree, he was pretty and he knew it

After talking some more they left and went to the boutique to get Ben's dress. Ben was excited to see what it would be like.
Together they picked out a pink dress, ben loved it.

Its like in the past few days he had become a girl on the inside.
He tried it on and fit, he looked in the mirror and ellie was staring back at him, he didn't even have a bad thought about it, he was no longer ben, she was ellie.
Her mum bought the dress and drove home.
Ellies mum hung it up.in her room whilst ellie went back to her room.
She took selfies of her new hair cut and sent them to the group chat. The girls loved it.
Freya was always supportive and especially now, she absolutely adored ellies new hair style.
"Youre adorable ellie" she typed.
It was true, and ellie knew it.
