Wang Lei only knew that Grandpa Wang was someone involved in a dangerous business but he was kind to his family. But once she saw how big and spacious the land and mansion of Wang had, suddenly she felt that she didn't know her grandpa at all.

Wang Lei already had a room prepared on the lower floor as she was still using a wheelchair but after she is fully healed, Grandpa Wang suggests she should stay upstairs where her personal room would be located at.

Grandpa Wang also introduced their family doctor, Li De. "Wang Lei, this is your personal doctor. He will be in charge of your health from now onwards". Li De was a young man in his 20s when he first met the mysterious Wang Lei. He is around 189cm tall, with dark hair and sharp dark eyes that he covers using glasses. He gave a brief nod and greeting towards the child that he heard about.

Wang Lei only nods at Li De and didn't say a word because she wasn't much of a talker. But she was surprised that her grandfather would assign a male doctor instead of a female to handle her health. 

Grandpa Wang then told everyone else to leave, leaving just the three alone in the room. This move didn't confuse Wang Lei as she thought her Grandfather wanted to say something important regarding her health but Grandpa Wang told her to sit down before asking a weird request.

"Lei-er, I need you to be a boy", Grandpa Wang said with a serious face that Wang Lei thought everything didn't make sense for a while so it took her a little longer to give a response.

"Huh?" she looks at her grandfather weirdly and the two were being quite comedic that Li De almost laughs looking at them. Thankfully, he already knew what was going to happen so he was already prepared in a way.

But Wang Lei was confused. She was clearly a girl and knew that ever since she was able to go to the bathroom now. So why was her grandfather suddenly being silly by asking this weird request? 

Grandpa Wang gave a worried expression as he said, "Lei-er, as of now nobody knows about your existence yet. And it is better if I introduce you as the future heir to the Wang household so nobody can mess with you anymore."

"But what does that have to do with my gender? Aren't females allowed to be head of their household as well?" Wang Lei immediately counter.

Grandpa Wang gave a sad smile, "Lei-er, women can become head of the household but they also have to get married. It's dangerous for you if they knew that you are a girl because then they'll try to trap you by getting you pregnant. So I need you to disguise yourself as a male until you are fully capable of taking care of yourself".

Wang Lei was silently thinking when Grandpa Wang asked her, "Lei-er, do you know our bloodline is quite special?"

Wang Lei slowly nods. The first time she was able to look at herself, she was shocked at her eye colour. Wang Lei was beautiful even if she was still covered in bandages. Skin as white as jade, pink lips that glossed under the light and her most defining feature was the mysterious ruby red eyes that shine even in the dark. She was first surprised when she saw Grandpa Wang who also shares similar traits with her and thought that it was normal here but it seems that she was wrong.

"Our family comes from the descendant of a powerful mercenary in the early ages. However, we are also cursed. It is said that our eyes are red due to the innocent blood that was spilt but nobody knows if this was true or not. Our body is also unique because we are a little bit stronger than regular people and some said that in order to acquire this power that is inherited by each descendant of the Wang, we made a deal with the devil and the eyes are proofs ", Grandpa Wang explained.

"And because of that, the females in the Wang family are always coveted by many. This is why I also want you to disguise yourself as a male because who knows what else they would do to get you", Grandpa Wang said bitterly as if he experienced something bad.

Wang Lei was confused. She was already sure that this was the modern world where fantasy didn't exist and yet she heard something like a fairy tale from her grandfather. It was already weird how she transmigrated to this body but it seems that the body also had a special lineage.

Then again, it didn't seem that impossible as the world was quite big and everything seems possible now.

"... Since grandfather feels that way then I will listen to you", Wang Lei held Grandpa Wang's hand as she gave a smile towards him.

"Since you agree, Li De will also give you a special medicine that can help to disguise yourself", Grandpa Wang called Li De forward who then held a tray containing a glass of water and a round pill. "Li De's family has been working with our family since ancient times. This medicine is passed down in both our families in case we would like our daughters or granddaughters to hide their feminine traits to save themselves. Li De will explain more to you".

Li De brought the pill over to Wang Lei and explained, "This pill is not that harmful to your body. It will only put a stop to your major female hormone called Estrogen and boost the major male hormone that can also be found in females called Testosterone. The expected effects are that your breasts will not develop until you stop eating this medicine and that also means that you will not be experiencing menstruation. Your body will grow like a male so that means your build will be taller and bigger than most females."

Wang Lei took the pill. She then looks towards Li De and asked, "How do you know if it is safe?"

Li De gave a smile towards her saying, "As Master Wang had explained, the recipe was passed down from one generation to another. And I've already modified it so it will be more effective and less harmful. In the old-time, they rely on fate whether or not the medicine would work but times have changed and technology has helped us advance in more ways than one. We've already used it on our test subjects and they are all still alive and well for now. I will take responsibility as well if anything goes wrong".

Wang Lei felt pitiful for the test subjects as she herself will become one. Since Li De had already taken responsibility, Wang Lei took the medicine right in front of the two and after a while, nothing was wrong so everyone was happy. Li De explained that she must take the pill once a week and the medicine would wear off its effect if she stops taking it for a week and longer (depending on how long she has consumed the pill).
