When a huge explosion was heard from the outside, the inside of the mansion seems to be tranquil as the walls were soundproof. But some parts of the mansion, especially close to the explosion area suffered as windows were broken and walls were shaking.

Those on the second floor of the mansion felt the ground vibrating and one person, in particular, felt something was not right.

"What's happening?" said Tao Meng towards his earpiece.

When there was no response, Tao Meng clicks his tongue and started heading downstairs to where the source of the sound was.

When he reached the stairs, he could hear some grunts and the sound of a sword-swinging along with the scent of blood thickening.

"Please! Have-", before the men could finish pleading, there was that sound again.

Tao Meng stood by the top of the stair as he looked down where he saw a young man wearing a black suit swinging a black and red sword. And when he saw the young man's red eyes, he suddenly remembered about a legend told about Hangyuan City which was said to be the home of a demon king. But that was a fairy tale and this was real life, and he knew exactly who this young demon was.

On Wang Lei's side, she just killed everyone that she came across as this was the price they had to pay for meeting her. Anyone that has seen her red eyes, would not live to see another day if they come across them. But if they do then it was their luck that saved them.

Standing at the top of the stairs was a fierce-looking man wearing a formal vest. The man has swordlike brows and sharp looking dark brown eyes which were focusing on Wang Lei. The man also has a creepy looking scar across his left eye which made him look intimidating but Wang Lei was not one of them. (A/n: Just imagine Kenpachi from Bleach here but with wild dark brown hair :) )

Both of them acknowledge each other as one knew that this was the top mercenary protecting Gong Bo while the other knew that this was the infamous current Master of the Wang Clan.

"I see that he's currently upstairs huh", Wang Lei slowly walked up towards Tao Meng who was sizing him up while holding a pistol that was strapped to his waist. "I don't suppose you could let me pass without fighting is it?"

Tao Meng was a guy with a big body built and since he was 190cm tall, Wang Lei was nothing to be afraid of but there was this weird feeling in his mind that Wang Lei gave a threatening feeling as his heart was palpitating like crazy. The only person that gave him this feeling was his leader from the mercenary group called Xiang (To go forward).

"Heh, over my dead body kid", Tao Meng swung his gun and immediately shoots toward Wang Lei.

The bullet managed to graze her cheeks as a small cut was formed and caused it to bleed. Wang Lei felt this was familiar with when Grandpa Wang swung his fist but the bullet was nothing compared to her own grandfather as it has to graze her cheeks while her grandfather used the air pressure to create the cut.

The bleeding stopped after 3 seconds and within that second, Wang Lei had sprinted forward and blew a fist towards Tao Meng's face to which he stopped but he could feel the wind that was caused by that fist and it distracted him to which Wang Lei swung a kick towards his side.

The kick landed a deadly blow on Tao Meng as he could feel two or one fractured ribs. He forced himself to move to create a distance between the two but Wang Lei wouldn't allow Tao Meng to run as she swung her sword Red against him, Tao Meng managed to dodge her onslaught and he even stopped the sword with his gun at times and even shoot randomly towards Wang Lei.

The two exchange blows as Wang Lei aimed at Tao Meng's weak points while Tao Meng also tried to give a critical blow to Wang Lei but had to defend against his attacks instead at times.

When Tao Meng did manage to create a distance, Wang Lei contacted Li Xiaoli as she asked, "How many minutes had passed?"

"You still have 15 more minutes left", Li Xiaoli replied and asked if Wang Lei needed any help.

Wang Lei left Li Xiaoli once more without any reply and started attacking Tao Meng with no mercy, Tao Meng gained cuts here and there but none were life-threatening.

Tao Meng could feel that he was losing as Wang Lei was different than just then. Now it seems like nothing could affect him at all and the only one suffering was himself. Why?

It was because Wang Lei knew that time was running out so she used 70% of her strength to get rid of Tao Meng. Tao Meng still struggled for dear life but in the end, a black and red sword passed through his chest and he was holding onto that sword as he stared into Wang Lei's beautiful red eyes.

There was no emotion in those eyes, just his own reflection that Tao Meng knew Wang Lei was a heartless monster.

"How pitiful", he said as he gave a look full of pity towards Wang Lei since he thought that Wang Lei was lacking any emotion and signs of being a human. He had fallen victim to being a killer.

But Wang Lei couldn't care less as she draw her sword back and caused a splash of blood splattering across the floor and let Tao Meng's body fall to the ground.

She then sheath Red and proceeds to contact Li Xiaoli asking where Gong Bo was at. When she got the coordinates, Wang Lei starts walking forward but then she stopped when she heard Tao Meng speaking.

"This won't be your last fight with us. Xiang will find you and take revenge", he said. Their Mercenary clan was famous for the word vengeance. It was one of the reasons why nobody wanted to mess with their people as their leader would get their back.

"The more the merrier", Wang Lei merely replied and headed on her way to Gong Bo.

She already has plenty of enemies aiming for her head. What was one more mercenary group right?
