Surprisingly, Wang Lei was still out of it for a while and it was only when she woke up did she realized everything that happened was not a dream.

She was actually surprised by the blood on her hand and on the bed which had already dried up since she slept for a few hours.

... It's killed or be killed. Wang Lei reminded herself that this was her reality now.

Now wide awake, she freshened up and even cleaned her sword Silver. Since there was no school, she wore casual clothing that consist of a white button-up shirt and black pants. She strapped Silver around her pants and headed down to the dining room for breakfast.

"Lei-er, you're awake", Old Master Wang smiled at her and inwardly sang praises as he thought that Wang Lei was getting more and more good looking that she was on par with the world's male top model. He even almost forgot his grandchild was a granddaughter after getting used to seeing her male form.

"Good morning Grandpa. Did you find out about last night's attacker?" She sat down next to Grandpa Wang and within a few seconds, she was served some chicken porridge.

Grandpa Wang's face grew displeased as he remembered there were assassins who went for Wang Lei's head just a few hours ago but he was also proud that Wang Lei was ruthless as she spared no one behind and the report stated that each strike was fatal that it only took a few seconds before they died.

"I already told Yu Cheng to bring the body back to Elder Jin. We should know who those bastards are soon", the spoon that Old Master Wang was holding was already crumpled like paper within his hands.

Wang Lei nods and continues eating. She had few memories of what really happened so it was quite good that her grandfather didn't ask any other questions.

Afterwards, Yu Cheng got back to the mansion and behaved like an obedient dog as he wouldn't leave Wang Lei's side even for a second despite not being asked to.

What the hell happened to him? Why is he looking at me like I'm a beast who's about to rampage around for some reason?

Wang Lei was fond of Yu Cheng and didn't question his loyalty but even she thought his behaviour was too much now. 

"Ah... I wonder what should I do today?" the weather was good as it was sunny yet breezy. She already had an idea after the first week of fighting and as usual, Wang Lei took out her phone to check the app and looks at the map.

Hmm... seems that there is quite a lot of target around the mansion. Maybe I can end the first round in a week so I can get more rest...

"Yu Cheng", Yu Cheng flinched yet quickly answered Wang Lei's call.

"Yes, shaoye?"

"Prepare to go somewhere soon, I want to do some hunting today", she puts down her phone and told him to prepare a ride within 30 minutes.

30 minutes should be enough to deal with these people.

Wang Lei planned her route of course and decided to first deal with the ones around the mansion first. 

She didn't aim for the ones around her grandfather as she knew they were doing their job to guard the master of the clan. But instead, she roamed around for those that weren't doing their job and was targeting her.

Yu Cheng had recently told her the reason why many people were targeting the future heir was that there was a hidden reward for those that manage to beat Wang Lei.

Of course, Yu Cheng confess although he was tempted for the reward, he was mostly curious if the future heir was capable or not for leading the clan which was why he wanted to test Wang Lei. He argued that perhaps some had the same thought as him which was why there was a target glued to her back.

 Rather than waiting like sitting ducks, it's better for me to make the first move first then.

Wang Lei's aim was to eliminate as many contestants as possible as this would mean there would be fewer attackers as well for her as she was getting annoyed being harassed by her own clan members.

 On that day itself, Wang Lei eliminated 30 more players within a day and took a total of 60 people under her subordination. Yet none of them manages to catch her attention as Yu Cheng who was currently her first subordinate that was capable of giving order to those under him.

Perhaps inspired by Wang Lei's hunt, the other members also began to start a purge of their own.

Especially the twins, Di Yi and Di Er whose names kept popping out in Wang's app notifications.

Wang Lei did think Di Yi was being too quiet in the beginning but now that she keeps seeing his name, it seems like he was provoked as Wang Lei's kept being mentioned.

He is someone that likes to be the centre of attention at times.

Before everyone knew it, by the end of the third week, the total surviving members were down to 1/3 of the total participants that consist of Wang Lei, Di Yi, Di Er and others who Wang Lei hasn't known properly but she knew that the other 8 members in the Hitman group must have joined the tournament so, in total, there was a total of 19 unknown members that Wang Lei were strangers with.

I decided to divide the stories into arcs as the first one would be about Wang Lei's appointment as heir to the Wang Clan. And the rest will be as followed so the chapters will be many as I don't want to separate the arcs into books since sometimes it was hard for me to find the second part of a storybook in Wattpad despite having the same creator :') I hope you guys understand this.
