Newly Gain Fame And Trouble

After Wang Lei had made her first appearance to the public as the current Master Wang, there was an increasing demand for her appearance as various invitations for parties, appearances in shows, modelling and etc were sent to Wang Lei.

Shen Da even personally hired Wang Lei a secretary who deals with public appearances as Yu Cheng was in charge of handling the mercenary group's mission reports (since Hao Hu was a lazy bum) and handling their prisoners. 

While Li De was in charge of organizing the other group's order of importance as the other elders send their reports to him, except for the mining company and the Scarlet Investment's company report as which would be handled by Li Xiaoli and Shen Da who only gives Wang Lei the utmost importance decisions to be made.

The newly hired secretary mostly liaises with Li De as Li De also handles Wang Lei's schedule for her.

Mr Chen on the other hand handles the household affairs such as handling the budget needed for their employees, food, maintenance and etc.

Overall, Wang Lei became so busy that she could only take a 4-hour sleep each day but she does not forget to maintain her exercises as she needed to be fit in order to confront any danger on her way.

Before she knew it, it was already time for the next Clan meeting and just like before, the 5 clan leaders had attended the meeting on time.

"Xiao Wang seems to be very busy lately", said the Master of the Liu Clan group, Liu Cai or Lao Liu (Old Liu).

Wang Lei merely smiled as she said, "Sacrifices have to be made for the greater good".

"I heard you encountered trouble at your introduction party?" asked the Master of the Zhou Clan, Zhou Xin or Lao Zhou.

When Wang Lei heard this, she kept her smile but her eyes changed to a new glint, "It was nothing worth mentioning".

Wang Lei wondered how did the old lady gain this information and how much she knew about but judging by her reaction it seems that the old lady was just genuinely concerned for her wellbeing.

Zhu Chunhua then changed the subject as she said, "You must be too busy that you didn't know about the recent troubles that are brewing in the city then"

"Are you talking about those goons from Shaoping City?" asked Wu Cuifen who recently fought with Wang Lei. "I've heard some of my boys said that there was a bigshot wanting to expand his turf and it was currently targeting the Gao Clan's area now isn't it?"

When the Gao Clan was mentioned, Gao Rong who was the Master got nervous and started talking fast saying, "As if those fools could cause any trouble with the Gao's around!"

But in reality, they really did cause trouble for Gao Rong as some were harder to deal with since his clan members were not strong enough but he didn't want that to be known to the others, especially in Wang Lei's presence!

Wang Lei actually knew about it and wanted to talk about this with the others now that they had the clan meeting.

The country they lived in was called Zhu Country which has four cities:

Hangyuan City was where Wang Lei and the other clan lives in. It was a city known to be peaceful and lacking troubles. Their standard of living was very high as the government ensure that their citizens lives a good life.

Xuzhou City was the city where the rumoured Xiang was located at. Some said it was a lawless city as various crimes were reported each day but the government kept emphasizing that they will do everything they can to reduce the crime rates.

Guixiang City was said to be the city of gold as most of its residents were rich and famous. There were various casinos as well that one claims to be able to be a millionaire from. The government was widely known to be corrupted as anyone who has money is free from trouble.

And the last one was Shaoping City, a city currently in development and is on the rise. Most of their focus is on agriculture and not much was known about their government. Except that currently, the Clan members of theirs were causing trouble to their neighbourhood city which was Hangyuan City.

Each city was supposed to have a regulator clan that controls the peace of the other clans just like how the Wang Clan who was the leading group controlled the other clans in Hangyuan City to ensure everything was peaceful.

And everyone knew that each of them had their own territory that was under their control which should not be bothered by another clan unless a battle was fought. This unspoken rule has never been broken before, even in Old Master Wang's generation as no trouble occurred. 

So why was it when Wang Lei took the rule did the trouble had to rise? But since there was trouble then there should be a solution as well right?

The clan leaders were currently in a serious discussion when a knock was heard and they all stopped talking when they saw Li De entering the room and saying, "Master, the guest has arrived".

Wang Lei smiled and said, "Let him in".

An unfamiliar face had arrived for most of them but Old Liu and Old Lady Zhou knew the man as Old Liu laughed saying, "I never thought I would see you again before I die my old friend".

"Is that you Xiao Chen?" asked Old Lady Zhou.

The newcomer laughed at the nickname that was given to him and said, "I am not that little anymore yet you are still as beautiful as always Madam Zhou". 

When the man stared at Wang Lei, he nods saying "So this must be the infamous Master Wang. Thank you for inviting me here".

Wang Lei stood to approach the man who was as old as Hao Hu and offered a handshake which he accepted. Wang Lei said, "I appreciate your attendance as you owe us an explanation, Chen Jingguo".

Chen Jingguo laughs when the two exchange a firm handshake and said, "No problem. It is time for us to discuss the trouble that has occurred which affected our two cities. We have one common enemy after all".
