The Official Wang Reunion

I realise I keep changing leaders and masters as I am not that used to using Masters in a story since most stories I read are about Heirs or Young masters. (˃̣̣̥ヘ˂̣̣̥) I will try to use Master Wang for Wang Lei from now onwards.

At around 10 pm, Wang Lei went to the study room where the meeting between the clan master and elders was held.

She still remembered the first time she met the other elders was at this very same place, but there was her grandfather back then. Now everyone else had also changed.

"Yo kiddo, it's nice to see you again", Hao Hu smiled at Wang Lei as he sat at the seat previously occupied by Elder Huo, the Mercenary group leader.

"Shut up, old man", said Di Yi sitting at the previous seat where Elder Shui, the leader of the Hitman group, sat.

Li Xiaoli was staring at the two arguing with a smile and sat at Elder Jin's previous seat and was now the Weapon and Intelligence group leader.

"Now, now everyone let's not fight, shall we?" Shi Guang replaced Elder Mu as he also manages the Entertainment group.

And the only new face was Elder Tu's replacement for the Scarlet Investment Company, his current heir and grandson named Shen Da.

Shen Da looked just like any other businessman in his late 20s and wore glasses as he looked like a stoic and strict man. Some said that he was the young version of Elder Tu as both were money crazed from a young age.

Although this was the first time Shen Da met the others, he did not feel intimidated as his grandfather had already informed him about everything else he needed to know. He was capable of fighting if a brawl did break out.

Even as he met Wang Lei, Shen Da greeted him respectfully as he knew that other than being the Master of the Wang Clan, he was also the Master of the Wang Family and had more than millions (perhaps billions) of assets under his name hence why he respected him and even looked up to him very much.

When Wang Lei saw the familiar faces, she couldn't help but smile as she said, "It's nice to meet everyone finally. I should also give my congratulations as everyone has succeeded each elder in their position".

When Di Yi heard this, he growled, saying, "I didn't even want this position! It was forced unto me!"

To his words, Hao Hu laughed as he said, "At least you didn't receive a death threat. Elder Huo threatened to kill me if I ever rejected this position. Luckily, I have some reliable assistants who do my work for me".

Li De and Yu Cheng were also in the meeting room as both were currently Wang Lei's assistants. When Yu Cheng heard Hao Hu's words, he couldn't help but sigh as he wondered why Elder Huo chose Hao Hu as his successor at times as other than being the strongest mercenary, he was also the laziest.

"Regardless of your complaints, I expect everyone will do what is expected of them. We also have big plans ahead of us now that we've reached an agreement with the government", Wang Lei raised her hand and made a flick in the air and both Yu Cheng and Li De passed on some papers to the rest.

"Thanks to everyone's hard work, we've reached a consensus with the government as they will acknowledge the clan and even prioritize us with the agreement that we do some dirty work for them", Wang Lei looks at the document that was placed in front of her.

"Our first target is an infamous tyrant called Gong Bo. Someone who breaks every law from kidnapping women and doing drugs yet the government could not do a thing to him as he has some connections with influential politicians who does some shady deal with him", Wang Lei's voice was full of loathing that the others instantly felt pity for this man.

"There are also other small fries that we need to deal with. Hao Hu and Di Yi you both split the work while I'll take Gong Bo. Li Xiaoli will provide the necessary equipment we need and Shen Da will give you the budget necessary. As for Shi Guang, try to dig any information you can about these people and team up with the intelligence department", Wang Lei stared at everyone and saw that they were all excited for some chaos.

Once they made some more talks, the meeting was adjourned and everyone left beside Yu Cheng, Hao Hu and Di Yi.

"He finally confessed, Master Wang", Yu Cheng said when Wang Lei looked at him. "He said that the person is known as Zhou Jian and at times he thought that his eyes were red in the dark but he was known to have dark hair and dark brown eyes".

"...Call the other elders and tell them I want to meet them soon", Wang Lei stared at a picture that shows a guy called Zhou Jian and threw the picture to Hao Hu who then passed it to Di Yi.

"Is this the guy that killed Old Master Wang?" Hao Hu asked.

"He looks weak", continued Di Yi.

Wang Lei stared at the picture once more and said, "He is responsible for killing grandfather but the one backing him up is plenty. I already have 7 people listed and not everyone is in Hangyuan City."

"But I will hunt them down one by one as the price they have to pay is with their lives. I will let Yu Cheng inform Li Xiaoli to track this guy but I want you two to also be aware of him and gain some info from those you know as he is sometimes a mercenary and sometimes an assassin", Wang Lei stared at the two who made eye contact with her. "Treat this as classified info as only those involved know about it"

Hao Hu and Di Yi nodded to Wang Lei's words. The two were then dismissed but then Wang Lei remembered something.

"Oh right, how is the clean up that I told you to do Di Yi?" Wang Lei looked at Di Yi who stood by the door. "I trust Di Er finished up the task with the other member of the hitman group?"

Di Yi smirks as he said, "Just who do you think you are asking from Master Wang? You already know we never fail our tasks once you give them to us"

Wang Lei smiled and nodded as she said, "As expected from the secret weapon of the Wang clan".

From today onwards, Wang Lei wanted to see just who else had the guts to challenge the Wang Clan now that everyone was back in Hangyuan City. As for the other cities, she will deal with them one by one sooner or later.

So some of you might be curious about the other elders but I will write them down once Wang Lei meets up with them soon :P But first its time for a school reunion XD
