Second Round Begins

I decided to name the Hidden Island "King's Hidden Island" since it belongs to the Wang Clan which translate to King in English.

When Wang Lei arrived at the clan's base where the Weapon and Intelligence group as well as the Mercenary Legacy group, she was met with Li De's cousin, the beautiful and intelligent Li Xiaoli. Li Xiaoli often wears a tight dress that shows the silhouette of her body and stops just above her knee but she also likes to wear a white coat. Yet because she had a sultry look, rather than a modest researcher, she seems like a sexy professor.

Wang Lei often complimented the Li family's genes as Li De was a handsome man who wears glasses to hide his dark eyes that has a sharp look. And Li Xiaoli was a sexy beauty who seems like one of a kind. The two were ranked the highest in the clan in terms of look but everyone knew that Wang Lei was considered as No.1 as well if it was about looks, especially as the heir gets more and more handsome by the year goes that everyone can't take their eyes off of him at times.

"Xiao Lei, you've arrived", Li Xiaoli was very fond of Wang Lei since they first met and had she faced Wang Lei in the first round then she would have given up and submitted to him without a fight as she had no qualms if Wang Lei was going to be the future head of the clan.

Just like the school beauty Qiao Xiu, Wang Lei did not push Li Xiaoli away when she went to embrace her.

"You've grown so tall and have already surpassed Jiějiě (sister)", Li Xiaoli sighs as her hand kept touching Wang Lei's body as she was also quite a pervert. When her hand was about to reach below her waist, Wang Lei immediately held it and gave a warning stare that made Li Xiaoli's heart beat fast and her body shudder.

'Ah- Xiao Lei's gaze has gone quite menacing as time passes by. I like him so much', Li Xiaoli thought and didn't try to reach below Wang Lei's waist anymore but kept hugging him as they both walk towards the warehouse that held all the clan's transportation.

Some people that stared at them couldn't help but think this wasn't the clan's base as the two seemed like they were a couple going on a date. But everyone knew of the two's identity and although some liked the beauty Li Xiaoli, they weren't that stupid to confront the clan's only heir Wang Lei.

When they went inside, they were met with the two elders, Elder Jin and Elder Huo from the base and also Li De who frowned and pulled Li Xiaoli away from Wang Lei, creating a barrier between the two.

Li De seems to be giving a look that wanted to scold Wang Lei but under everyone's watchful gaze, he only held it in and scolded his cousin Xiaoli not to touch Wang Lei casually. Li Xiaoli only shrugged and kept her distance from Wang Lei after kissing his cheeks and receiving another scolding from Li De.

The two elders only felt amused watching the two fight as usual and then went to board the private jet that would send them to the Island. The Island was both accessible through air and sea but as it was quite far, they decided to take the private jet as it was also more comfortable for them.

"Will any others be coming?" Li De asked Li Xiaoli who turned to look at the two elders.

"I think some of them might depart at a later date", answered Elder Jin. "Some might already be there as well. So let's just depart for now as there is another private jet waiting for them after all".

The rest of the passengers approved and thus the jet departs. It was a 5 hour trip from the Wang Clan's base to go towards the Island. 

During that time, the two elders that sat at the opposite side from Wang Lei started chatting with her. 

"Young master, from the second round onwards please do your best", said Elder Huo. "I will be rooting for you!"

Elder Jin couldn't help but retort as he said, "It's quite unbelievable how none of the quarter-finals contestants is from the Legacy group. This is what happens when you have been slacking too much"

"Eh, none of them are from Elder Huo's faction? I thought at least one of them was from the mercenary group?" said Li De once he heard the Elder's words.

The two elders suddenly became quiet, especially Elder Jin as if he couldn't believe he made a slip of tongue. 

"I did approve someone to that made it to the quarter-finals", replied Elder Huo as he tried to salvage the situation.

"Well, it doesn't matter since Xiao Lei will become the final winner after all. We belong in the same clan right?" interrupted Li Xiaoli who kept receiving Elder Jin's tearful gaze.

Wang Lei who had been silent as she was staring outside the window finally turned to face the others as she said, "I will do my best".

From the second round onwards, weapons are not allowed as from this point onwards, it was a test of your strength. Although she didn't know about the other's strength, that doesn't mean she wasn't confident herself.

As her grandfather said, "Remember to control your strength".

Wang Lei turned to stare at the outside scenery once more with an indifferent look. She then closed her eyes to rest and only opened them when the jet landed safely on its platform.
