THE day of the second task was a blur

THE day of the second task was a blur. The sky was grey and rain was pouring, but that didn't dampen the moods of anyone. Antalia had walked down to the Black Lake with the group laughing, and making fun of each other, as usual.

Tals hadn't seen Dean since the night before, and she was a little confused - they were supposed to have met in the great hall at 9:30, but he never showed up. Keira and Helen pulled her over to walk down with them and the boys, telling her it was nothing to worry about. Despite what the girls said, she couldn't help but feel as though she had done something wrong, but she brushed off her doubts and forgot about it, assuming he had just forgotten, or couldn't make it and forgot to tell her.

They walked down to the stands, looking out over the Black Lake, and sat on an empty piece of bench, next to the Gryffindors.

"Antalia and her buddies!" Fred cried from behind the group, "Would you like to bet on the task?" he asked, shaking the money tin.

"Five galleons on Potter," Theo butted in, drawing the Twin's attention.

Antalia nodded, "I'll add two Galleons on that."

George and Fred raised their eyebrows in sync, "Nott, if i got a galleon for every time you spoke bad about Harry, i would be a millionaire," George said.

Blaise rolled his eyes and smirked, "You're forgetting that Potter is Dumbledore's favourite - he will win no matter what place he comes."

"What they said," Keira shrugged, her arm linked through Helen's.

"I don't even go here, but it's dead obvious," Ryan snickered, and Alfie nodded, evidently not listening.

Antalia nudged Alfie, but his attention was on something further up in the stands, "Alf?" she hissed, "What's wrong?"

Alfie's eyes widened, and shook his head quickly, "Nothing, nothing, Tals," He refocused on the twins who had their eyebrows raised, "I'll as five sickles on Potter too then." The twins grinned, wrote something down and walked off, to force their next victims into making a new bet.

Antalia looked around at the other Gryffindors, and her eyes landed on her boyfriend, who hadn't even noticed she was there. Antalia's face fell, slightly. Next to Dean was a very pretty girl, Tals couldn't make out who it was - she had her head facing Dean, but her hair fell elegantly down her back and off her shoulders. On his other side was Seamus and Neville, both visibly irritated by something.

Antalia turned her head back to her friends; they all had been looking as well, and Keira has a very unamused expression plastered on her face.

"Antalia, why is that girl whispering into your boyfriend's ear?" Keira asked, disgusting.

Antalia shrugged, choosing not to get upset about it, "She's probably telling him something?" She said, attempting to be funny, but to came out more like a question.

Before Keira could reply, the cannon went off, and Mr Bagman introduced the second task: "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the second task!" There was a roar of excitement, "Each champion has had something taken from them - it is their job to retrieve it! The second task... starts ... NOW!"

"GO ON HARRY! YOU CAN DO IT CEDRIC!" Antalia yelled, as loudly as she could, as the champions dived in.

Dean heard her from where he was sitting, and looked over at his girlfriend, laughing loudly with her friends, and grinned.

"What are you smiling at, Dean?" Emma Wren said, from beside him.

"Antalia," he replied, still grinning, looking into Emma's beautiful, brown eyes.

"She's you're girlfriend, isn't she?" she asked, looking at Talia. Dean nodded, his eyes leaving Emma's face, "she's very pretty," she noted, "almost unnaturally pretty."

Seamus snorted from the other side of Dean, "Wren, you might as well say she's out of his league - we all know it's true. No offence, mate," Seamus added, as Emma rolled her eyes.

Antalia was still watching the river intensely, and she hadn't noticed Emma looking venomously at the back of her head, but Blaise had - he mentally noted down her behaviour, but decided not to tell anyone; after all, he wasn't positive she was definitely looking at Talia.

Blaise was quickly pulled from his thoughts when Antalia nearly toppled over the railing and into the lake. Him and Helen grabbed her arms and pulled her back from the side.

Antalia just looked at the group excitedly, "I think i just saw a Kelpie!" she cried, eyes widening.

"Antalia, baby, I love you, don't get me wrong-" Helen started.

"But drowning just because you saw a Kelpie is not a wise choice," Blaise finished.

If anything, Antalia's grin grew, she sighed, "it was so cool," she grinned, still in awe.

Theo shook his head, "Bloody weirdo."

"Oh, don't be mean, Theo," Keira said, "Antalia, we can go on a Kelpie hunt in the summer, it's too cold to go swimming now."

It had been just over an hour and Cedric soon appeared, with Cho clutched in his arms (Fleur had already emerged, about half an hour before, shaking and sobbing).

"People?!" Antalia cried, "There are people down there!"

"It appears so," Ryan said, eyes widening.

"Shit! Shit!" Antalia cried, looking around the stands frantically, "I can't see Ron or Hermione! I'm going to go to the main stand! I'll see you later!"

Alfie rolled his eyes, running after his best friend, just to make sure she wouldn't fight Dumbledore when she realised he had put both her twin brother and (honorary) sister down there.

TIME SKIP

The next time Antalia spoke to Dean was at the Gryffindor Party. Fred and George had managed to sneak Keira, Alfie, and this time Helen and Ryan, in as well.

The music was blaring and Antalia walked over to Dean, who was standing with the same girl he was at the tournament. Dean grinned when he saw her, rushing over to hug her and kiss her on both cheeks.

Antalia couldn't help but notice the girl behind him scowl, but when she looked back she had a wide smile on her face. The girl was tall, with long black hair flowing down her back, with rosy red cheeks and a gorgeous figure.

The girl walked up to the two, hips swaying as she walked and placed a hand on Dean's shoulder, "Are you going to introduce me, Dean?" she asked, her sweet voice echoing in Antalia's ears.

Dean smiled widely, "Emma, this is Antalia, my girlfriend, and Antalia this is Emma, she's in our school year, and we've gotten quite close recently."

Antalia smiled warmly at the girl, and Emma smiled back, again Antalia wasn't sure, but it could easily have been a smirk.

Talia could feel her blood run could as Emma quickly swept Dean into another conversation, leaving no room for Antalia to chip in.

Tals stepped back and slowly edged away from the two, wanting to ignore the pain she felt, as Emma rested her hand on his shoulder, laughing at something he had said.

Talia attempted to shake of her bad feeling, repeating 'I trust him, i'm just overthinking," in her head, as she went to try to enjoy the night with Helen, Alfie, Keira and Ryan.
