Your POV:

I woke up to the smell of Taka's cologne once again. I shifted to look at the time, and that's when I realized where I was. My head was resting on Taka's chest, his arm wrapped around me. I quickly regained consciousness and recalled what had happened the night before. Some parts of my memory were a little hazy, but I was able to remember most of what had happened. I slowly got up, trying not to disturb Taka. The time read 4:00 am. I sighed. 'I might as well go for a run since I'm up,' I thought to myself.

I quickly changed and walked outside. The air was cool and damp, and it felt therapeutic for the small headache in the back of my head. I started my watch and began running. The pain in the back of my head slowly began to dissipate, but I felt that my nose was sore from the up and down running motion. 'I wonder if I broke it,' I couldn't help but wonder. It was still dark out, except for the brief light that was provided by the lampposts.

I had run for about 5 miles until I heard a motorcycle hum. I turned to see Mondo riding on his bike next to me. "Damn, only 14.5 kilometers per hour? Come on! Pick up the pace!" Mondo told me, jokingly. I rolled my eyes. "How about you get off your bike and run with me then?" I said, quickly catching my breath after speaking. He laughed. "I think I'm better off staying on my bike."

"How long have you been running for?" he asked me. "About 34 minutes," I responded, looking down at my watch. "So about 8 kilometers." He looked at me cautiously. "Are you sure it's ok to exert yourself this much? You seemed pretty drunk last night." I chuckled. "Don't remind me."

Mondo followed me for the rest of my run, which ended up being about 11 kilometers, as we had a conversation. Right before I left to go back to my dorm he asked me a question. "Oh, and I forgot to ask. Do you know what happened to Taka after he dropped you off at your dorm? He wasn't at his dorm last night when I came to check on him." My heart skipped a beat for what I was about to tell him.

"Oh, uh, he stayed with me last night." Mondo looked at me in disbelief. "He stayed with you?! That son of a bitch!" he said, still in disbelief. "This might be too soon to ask, but did you two--" "Oh my God, Mondo, no!" I quickly interrupted. He laughed. "Ok, I just had to ask. I'm going to head out. I have to meet up with my bros. Have a good Saturday!"

"You too!" I replied before he drove off. I looked at the time which read 5:07 am. 'I better head inside. I don't want Taka to wake up and think something happened to me,' I thought, making my way back to my dorm. I entered and saw Taka still sleeping peacefully on the bed. I decided to go take a shower since Taka wouldn't be up for a while. I quietly walked over to the bathroom and shut the door.

I turned on the shower and the sudden splash of water on my head made a small pain shoot through my head. I ignored it and let my mind wander. 'He saved me yesterday,' I kept thinking. Then I remembered that he rejected my kiss. 'I wonder if he even likes me. He might have claimed that he was rejecting me because I was drunk, but what if that isn't why.' I then remembered how I woke up this morning. 'Is it possible that he could actually like me back?'

Taka's POV:

Taka awoke to the sound of a door closing in the hallway. He sat up and looked at the time. It read 8:28 am. 'Did I really sleep in that late?' He rubbed his eyes and took a look at his surroundings. The events from the night before came rushing back to him. 'Wait, where is (y/n)?' He sat up and looked around the room. He then saw you sitting on the couch watching TV. He stared at you for a good minute. 'I wish I could find a way to tell her how I feel. Maybe Mondo can help me!' He yawned and you turned around and smiled at him.

Your POV:

"Good morning, sleepyhead!" I walked over to him and brushed my hand through his hair to make it look neater. He blushed and sat up all of the way. "I'm going to the dining hall to get some food. Do you want anything?" Taka stretched again. "Surprise me," he said groggily. 'He acts so differently when he's tired,' I couldn't help but think. I nodded, got up, put on my shoes, walked out the door, and started heading to the dining hall.

As I got there, I saw Sayaka sitting at a table. I walked up to her. "Hey, Sayaka!" She looked up at me startled. "Oh, hi (y/n)!" She quickly looked back down at her food. "Is something wrong?" I asked her. She sighed. "Leon came and talked to me this morning." She paused for a second. "He said you and Taka beat him up for no reason." I felt my stomach drop and the anger inside of me swell.

"He said WHAT?!" I said louder than I meant to. A boy with pink hair glanced over at me but quickly looked away when he saw I was looking at him. Sayaka looked at me concerned. "Is it true?" I sat down in the seat across from her and looked her in her light blue eyes. "No, it's not true at all! Leon tried to take advantage of me because I was drunk! If Taka wasn't there to stop him, I'm not sure what could have happened."

"I'm so sorry, (y/n). To be honest, I didn't really believe Leon that you did such a thing." There was a moment of silence then Sayaka continued. "I'm going to talk to him. He might actually listen to me." I was about to protest, but Sayaka quickly started walking off. "Bye, (y/n)!" I waved goodbye and went to get me and Taka some food. I grabbed us some pancakes and headed back to my dorm, where Taka was waiting.

"Hey!" I said as I walked into the dorm. "I got us some pancakes. I wasn't sure what else to get." He looked up from a book he was reading. "I love pancakes!" he answered. "Thank you!" I walked over to him and sat next to him on the couch. We finished eating and started to discuss what we would do today.

"So, what do you usually do on weekends?" he asked me. "I like working out in the mornings and then just relaxing or working on something," I answered. "What about you?" He looked embarrassed. "Well, I spend my time studying! As the Ultimate Moral Compass, I must never stop studying!"

I looked at him. "Seriously? How about we do something fun today?" He set his plate on the table. "Do you want to go to the movies with me?" he blurted. I could see his face start to turn bright red. My stomach knotted up. "D-Do you mean like a date?" I croaked. He turned even redder. "Um, yeah. A date! But only if you want it to be! If not we could just go as fr--" I didn't let him finish as I pressed my lips against his. I pulled away and looked into his scarlet red eyes.

"I would love to go on a date with you, Taka."
