Kaede looked at her phone angrily. "UGhhH I swear if you don't answer me soon-" she trailed off at the end of her sentence, she didn't know what she would do besides be sad but she didn't want to say that. She looked at her text.

Kaede groaned knowing she sounded clingy but she didn't really care. She slouched into her chair and blankly stared at the screens in front of her but she wasn't really looking at it. She didn't know how long she had been sitting here, she only knew that the love of her life might actually be dead this time. Neither of them had ever died twice in the same run. She let out a shaky sigh there was no reason to be so upset. Tsumugi would show up again and it would be fine and they would just kill the rest off so they could reset early and be with each other again. She found herself hoping for the other girl's return and chuckled. It was rather ironic that she, on the side of despair, didn't care about being hopeful. She didn't care about hope or despair, not like Tsumugi did. She preferred seeing how they would react to things. She liked watching people's reactions to things she'd do. Like how they would scream and beg for Tsumugi to not make them kill 'please I thought we were friends Tsumugi don't make me do this! I don't want this!' That run had been one of Kaede's top 5 favorite runs but this one was already much better in her opinion. Of course it got boring sometimes but that was to be expected. Kaede smiled to herself, maybe she was just biased because this was the first run where she wasn't just an actress. She was the mastermind here. Plus Shuichi was slightly more confident faster which was probably because this was the first run where they gave him a binder. They had only recently found out he was trans and they had to code a realistic binder which she knew nothing about but Tsumugi figured it out while cosplaying a certain Ultimate Programmer. Coding was definitely something Tsumugi had greatly improved on as time progressed. She was glad they figured it out. Shuichi was definitely happier this time round. She felt really bad about the time she had kissed him before dying. That had fucked him over and the guy almost died. Multiple times. She tried not to be biased but they were best friends before this so of course she was biased. She got a ping from her phone and quickly felt her heart speed up

Kaede did remember and she shuddered at the memory.

--Girlf: so just tell me how to reset it??

Kaede closed her messages and smiled. She knew Tsumugi would live. She still worried though. She got a ping and opened her phone to look at it.

—Reinds: Love wait

—Girlf: am wait

—Reinds: The Ultimate Hope is on his way love, he could ruin everything

—Girlf: no he won't

—Girlf: I have a plan :)

—Girlf: also I thought he was dead?

—Reinds: ??

—Girlf: all u gotta do is code sumtin real quick :)

Kaede was confused but she smiled anyway. This was gonna be so much fun. She had this plan for quite some time. Albeit she didn't think she'd get to use it since she thought the guy died but oh well. She's not complaining.

—Reinds: why the fuck would he be dead

—Reinds: also, he could spill our location??

—Girlf : did you not see the news?

—Girlf: they spoil everything, but anyway

—Girlf: it won't matter dear
