The moonlight and light from nearby torches illuminated the area next to an enchanted hedge maze. The third and final task is about to take place, and (Y/n), Lauretta, Éponine and Luca are all sitting next to one another in the stands.
Loud cheers and shouts of encouragement came from the Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students for the Champions they rooted for. Within all that loudness, the small group spoke to one another.
"I'm glad this weird thing is finally going to be over," complained Luca, crossing his arms and sighing in relief.
"Lucas! They've all worked hard, and this is the last task, so try to be supportive!" exclaimed Lauretta, slapping his arm somewhat aggressively.
"Why don't you run down there, then, and go give Potter some encouraging words?" he retorted with a playful smirk, finding satisfaction in the Gryffindor's flustered expression.
"He's right, Laurie!" (Y/n) butted in, giving her best friend an encouraging pat on the back. "Go down there before the task starts!"
"But—"
"Listen to zem, Lauretta," interrupted Éponine, sharply, "if you fancy him, zen make a move!"
"Um. . ." Lauretta mumbled in hesitation, gazing down at the messy-haired boy who was making his way towards where the other champions were.
Violently, she shook her head and gently slapped her cheeks to knock some sense, and possibly even confidence, into herself. "Fine! I'll try!"
Lauretta swiftly stood up after she announced that, and her friends cheered her on. However, a second later, the hesitant expression on her face showed that she was rethinking her decision.
(Y/n) was quick to notice that. So, she gave the anxious Gryffindor a pat on her back once more. "You can do it, Laurie!"
The other two exclaimed strings of encouragement, and Lauretta subtly smiled at that and shoved her way through the crowd. (Y/n) observed her talking to Harry a minute later with pride.
"She's actually talking to him!" proclaimed (Y/n), enthusiastically.
Her excited tone made Luca chuckle, "Yeah, I'm proud of her. I'm glad she isn't letting her anxiousness control her anymore."
"Maybe you should learn something from her."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Start talking to Liam again," she instructed seriously, "Allison rejected him, and I'm pretty sure he's pans."
"Ooh!" Mentally, Éponine put the pieces together and she beamed at the new information. "You fancy Lumière, Luca?"
"What did you call Liam?" inquired Luca, tilting his head to the side, curiously.
