I got up and got dressed, I wore a pink adidas shirt and pink Adidas sweatpants and I also wore the pink Crocs Mr. Martin gave to me and put the anklet on.
I went downstairs and watched some tv, as my mom wasn't home.
Hello, this is KTV9, your daily weather and news with the latest update.
The storm that formed last week has now strengthened to a tropical storm. We now know it's path but it still may be unpredictable.
In other news, citizens are starting to stock up on essential supplies. Could this be more than we expected?
I didn't think much of it as I finished getting ready for the day.
I went out the door and Scott was there once again to meet me.
I smiled at him and we walked to the bus stop.
"Did you hear that report on the news?" I said.
"The tropical storm?" Scott said.
"Yeah."
"I saw it on the news, hopefully it doesn't get worse."
"Yeah."
We finally arrived at school and got off the bus. I immediately went to Mr. Martin's classroom and talked to him.
"Mr. Martin? Are my shoes clean?"
"Yes they are Reese."
"Could you put your foot up on the desk really fast?"
I hesitantly did so.
He scanned the shoe with his phone.
He slid my Crocs off revealing my small feet.
"What size are you again Reese?"
"6.. sir."
"Wow, well, it seems you have no socks on."
"Yeah... I forgot."
"It's fine I have some white socks you can keep so you don't have to return them."
"Before I do though...".
He started playfully tickling my toes. I crunched them as he did this.
"Mr Martin!"
"Hehe sorry Reese."
He handed me the socks and my shoes - all clean and ready.
I giggled as I began to put them on.
"You forgot your Taggles!"
He clipped the Taggles on my shoe and wished me good luck on my classes.
They went faster than I expected.
And soon the day was over, thankfully without loosing my shoes.
