Chapter 35: aftermath

"Ouch" yelled Lauren as Lucy was cleaning the cut near her eyebrows

"Keep calm or I'll kick you in the balls" said Lucy a little mad at Lauren for being so irresponsible

"You are gonna hurt someone who is already hurt?" Asked Lauren with puppy eyes

"I'm not gonna just hurt but do a lot more evil things if she doesn't stop doing this kind of things " said gently whipping away the blood left on the green eyed girl face

"I can't deal with injustice you know and Thanks for always being there with me no matter what " said Lauren with all respect and sincerity she has for Lucy

"I know Laur I do but still doesn't change the fact that you always get hurt at the end" Lucy can't help herself from saying this to Lauren, no one can even imagine how much she cares for this girl! No one!

"I know but still if something like that ever happen, you are not gonna come in between! You know after what you did, you might lose your job!?" Said Lauren with panic in her voice

"Do i look like I care? In that moment the only thing that mattered and that I cared for.... Was you" said Lucy with all emotions in her voice, touching Laurens cut lips gently

Lauren would have given anything if someone asked, just hear this by camila, unfortunately she knows it's never gonna happen. At the end you can't have whatever you wish, so u need to be happy with ever you get in life, and Lauren was happy to find that person in Lucy.
All her life every person she loved dearly, they hurt her mercilessly, still she never gave up on loving.
And she knew also after getting her heart crushed into million places she won't stop now.

"Again Thanks Lucy for being an amazing friend to me " said Lauren hugging her tightly

"Yeah just friend" whispered Lucy

"What did you say?" Asked Lauren perplexed pulling away from the warm hug

"I said best friends" answered Lucy changing the meaning of what she actually meant

"Anyway it's quite lait, I need to go" said Lauren getting up however she felt her phone vibrate on her pant pocket, she reached out and saw a massage from Camila.

I'm not coming home today

"You can stay here if you want " offered Lucy with a hopeful smile

Knowing is useless going home and most importantly if anyone saw her appearance, they will ask a lot of questions, which she didn't wanted to answer.

"Sure "

Meanwhile Camila took Shawn his parents house because Shawn was almost unconscious and wasn't able to help Camila finding his keys.
So she took her where she knew he will be looked after other than a hotel, but the situation got worse because his mom went livid seeing her son in this state.

"CAMILA TELL ME WHO DID IT" Karen yelled asking for who reduce her son in this state

However camila didn't utter a word, Shawn safety was important but so was Lauren's.

She knew if she said something Lauren will get in trouble and she wasn't even that rich to fight off Shawn family nor when will accept help from anyone. She didn't wanted to stay but looking at th3 situation she knew she didn't had other options, so she sent a quick text to Lauren to let her know.

"Are you going to tell me or not??" Asked Karen again but this grabbing camila harshly
