First of all, hello and welcome to my story. Even if you drop this after reading this first part (and ngl I wouldn't blame you ;v;), I still appreciate the fact that you clicked on this.
Before I get to the actual OC profile, first and foremost, to be completely upfront, this OC is a self-insert. A lot of people write fanfiction with deep, inspiring ideas and reasons, but let me be perfectly honest, this was made as pure wish fulfillment. Even if I do consider my OC as a separate person, at the end of the day, she's still my self-insert. So if you ever think, "Hey, why does this OC seem like the an author insert?", the answer is that the OC IS an author insert.
Case in point: This story is going to become a Nagito x OC story. (Now you'll NEVER be able to guess what my favourite Danganronpa characters are *insert evil laugh*.) Also, yes, this means OC x Canon, so if that's not your cup of tea, then your chances of having even an inkling of enjoyment while reading this will most likely be 0. If that's you, then this is probably your cue to leave, and I hope you'll find a better story to read :)
Moving on from that, this fanfic is going to be a trilogy. This first book will be entirely focused on DR2 and spoilers will mostly be self-contained until parts 43 and onwards (minor DR3 spoilers). The second book will cover UDG while the third will cover DR3 (more specifically, Despair Arc, DR 2.5 and Hope Arc) and some coverage of DR Zero, so here's a two-book-in-advance spoiler warning for that.
The same cannot be said about spoilers also being self-contained in the comments lol so navigate at your own risk bc I will not be enforcing anything when it comes to that.
I'm sorry in advance that the chapters are going to be formatted weirdly. It'll look odd, but I just do it so I have an easier time keeping track of chapters when I edit them. That's why it's according to the in-game chapters.
