y/n pov;

I could feel I was back at the leaf, but I didn't want to open my eyes I want to surprise the others. I focused and searched for their presence, and to my luck, they were all gathered together, they were all sitting at different tables the boys on the one side and the girls on the other, naruto wasn't there so I couldn't surprise him but Neji was there.

I didn't sense anyone's chakra near me so I quickly did a shadow clone Jutsu and hid my presence, the shadow clone took my place and I headed towards the place they were all gathered at

once I arrived I peeked in, luckily they were far from the entry. I looked around to see how the waiters were dressed, and I took a step back

''transformation Jutsu'' I transformed into one of the waiters and head to the table they were all enjoying themselves even lady Tsunade but they looked exhausted, it is night time after all

once I got in between their table I cleared my throat, my chakra has changed so they won't recognize me by chakra and I am a waiter so they won't notice me by looks

''is there anything else you guys need'' I asked giving them a smile

''no were fine thanks'' Sakura gave me a small smile, I then turned to the boys and they nodded 'no'

I took a step backward so that everyone could see me ''you all look exhausted and it looks like you are having fun, I know what can make your night even better'' I gave them a smile

''yeah and whats that'' ino asked, I looked around and saw everyone was looking at me

I put my arms in the air doing a pose and undid my transformation jutsu there was smoke everywhere but once it cleared I spoke

''it's me, I come back'' I gave them a huge grin, giggling a bit

I opened my eyes and looked at everyone they were all shocked

''no need to get so excited'' I said sarcastically, lowering my arms. I was hungry so I went to go grab some of their food when all the girls jumped up from where they were sitting and gave me a hug

''your back how did you get out of the tent without anyone realising'' Sakura asked pulling away from the hug and the others followed, the boys were just laughing at us

''I am the top prodigy after all, and I used shadow clone Jutsu, my chakra changed so you won't recognize me by my chakra'' I gave then a smile and a thumbs and answered with a smug look on my face. I turned to look at the boys who stopped laughing at us and just looked at us, my eyes then went to Neji and he was staring at me

I gave him a small smile, which he returned

3rd person pov:

''Now if you will excuse me I am starving'' y/n reached towards some food that was on the table but Sakura slapped her hands, shaking her head from side to side

''no, I need to go check up on you see if you're fine'' she pushed y/n towards the door while explaining

''but I am doing just fine, look'' y/n pointed at herself, but that didn't stop Sakura, she kept pushing y/n until they were outside. They then made their way towards the tent and Sakura checked up on y/n making sure everything is fine, and it was indeed

''I will go grab you something to eat, wait here and don't move'' she said firmly but then smiled as she left the tent, y/n stood there before turning her back away from the entrance of the tent

''you sure did take your time getting back'' y/n heard a familiar voice and turned around, Neji was standing at the door with his eyebrows raised a bit

''it didn't take that long'' y/n laughed, rolling her eyes. Neji walked towards her and opened his arms, they were just looking at each other before y/n went closer and hugged him, and hugged him tight

''I missed you'' y/n whispered loud enough for Neji to hear her

''Yeah, and I missed you too'' he broke the hug and put his hand on her cheek, stroking her cheek, they were staring at each other, before y/n turned to the door

Sakura then came in with some food and stopped when she saw Neji ''did I interrupt something''

y/n pov

''no I just came to check up on y/n'' he told her turning away from me and faced sakura. He then left but stopped at the door and mouthed goodnight

I gave him a smile before mouthing goodnight back, Sakura put the food on a little table that was there

''thank you for the food'' I sat down and started to eat ''Sakura would you mind telling the others to meet me here tomorrow"

she then hummed in response and said goodnight. She left the tent leaving me to eat my food in peace

the next morning when I woke up I felt relieved that it wasn't all a dream

''thank you for coming'' I looked at everyone as they nodded and sat down in front of me

'where is Neji' I thought looking around. I couldn't wait much longer for him to come.
I then explained everything that happened and that I managed to befriend 8 of the tailed beasts, the only one I couldn't was the 9 tails

''but how did you get out then didn't you say you had to befriend all of them'' Ino asked tilting her her head to the side

''maybe the 9 nine tails trusts her but won't admit it'' Shikamaru said stroking his chin trying to find an answer for the question I didn't even have a answer for

I then told them I learned tons of new jutsu's and got stronger

''but won't that effect your lifespan'' Sakura asked crossing her arms

''no, and the tailed beasts also said they will think of a way for me to survive longer'' I reassured them

there was something else I needed tO say but I just couldn't ''how about we go get some ramen to eat, my treat''

choji agreed right away the others also did except Sakura, she said she had somewhere to be

we decided to go to Ichiraku to get some ramen, naruto was once again not here and neither was Neji, which was a bit odd

choji ordered a lot of ramen I sometimes wonder where he gets the space for his food

'that's weird Neji's chakra is low, he must probably be close enough for me to sense his chakra now' I thought as I ate my ramen

the ramen didn't cost as much as I thought it would, and we were enjoying ourselves. I bonded with the girls more and got closer to them while we were eating ramen

once we left, sakura came running towards us ''y/n!' '

she stopped in front of us trying to catch her breath ''it's neji, he got injured, really bad''

I froze but the vanished and headed toward the hospital
