''When you said the baby would be fine even if he got a kekkei Genkai, did you mean if the baby got my kekkai Genkai''

I choked on my food and turned red '' n-no I just meant in general, I didn't specifically talk about you, but you were the first one who came to mind when I talked about the baby getting a kekkai Genkai''

''isn't that the same thing'' he asked teasingly

''no not at all'' I crossed my arms.

''and when you meant by burdening someone withthe child were you thinking about me too''

I then took a second to answer completely embarrassed ''yeah'' I admitted shyly

it was silent for a while ''you know it won't burden me at all'' he said with a tint of red on his cheeks, this was probably embarrassing for him to admit

''It would burden me, I don't like children they're so expensive they will make me broke and besides why would anyone want another y/n running around'' I heard Akihiro say from behind me, and I completely froze

'When did he get there ' I then slowly turned around to face Akihiro shocked

''h-hey how much did you hear'' I asked afraid to hear the answers

''everything'' he said with a smirk. I then dropped my head in embarrassment ''and I got to say Neji if you want to have a ba-'' I quickly throw something at him to shut his mouth, but he dodged it ''just tell her, this girl is crazy about you'' I then used my hands to covers his mouth but took them ''when we were practicing she couldn't stop talking about you''

He then got out my grip and I chased him around ''Akihiro I swear if you say another word, you're dead'' I shouted chasing after him

''and she fantasizes about you a lot, you should have heard her at training talking about you in your sleep'' he shouted as he ran around Neji and I was still chasing after him. I then took off one of my shoes and threw him against the head causing him to stumble and I caught up

I then put his hand behind his back ''say another word and I will break your arms'' I threatened

I could hear laughter coming from outside the kitchen

''yeah it's just Neji, Neji, Neji you hear all night'' Kenji said stepping inside the kitchen ''she even had these weird smiles every time she read the little love letters you sent her '' Haruki said finishing Kenji's words

''hey they weren't love letters'' I said turning towards them, they were all laughing at my embarrassed state

''there not? I am pretty sure I saw you drawing little hearts on the ones you sent Neji but threw it away'' Haruki said forming a heart with his finger

I then let go of Akihiro ''guys stop it his sitting right there this is embarrassing'' I ran towards Haruki and Kenji

''yeah and Haruki do you remember when she was plucking the rose petals and said 'he loves me, he loves me not' and then got super upset since it said he loves me not'' Kenji said laughing

I then stopped in my tracks ''respect your elders Kenji'' Akari said walking into the kitchen ''she might break her back chasing after u guys''

''If I were old I wouldn't be the top prodigy and the one that can kick your asses'' I  ran towards Haruki and was about to kick him but sensei stopped my kick

''Guys that's enough you're giving her more grey hair than she already has'' sensei said, he then let go of my foot, and I stood there completely embarrassed I then remembered all the things they said and Neji was in the kitchen with us. I then turned towards the door and left, feeling too embarrassed about what happened

''maybe we took it too far, you guys know how y/n is she acts all though but she is such a softie she is probably crying right now" Akihiro said facing the others

''you started it''

''but stopped when she almost broke my arms and where is Neji'' he asked and everyone then began searching around in the kitchen

I was heading towards my room to hide from embarrassment just as I was about to shut the door someone's foot stopped it I opened the door and saw Neji stand there

I opened the door and Neji immediately started kissing me shutting the door behind us and leading me towards the bed not breaking the kiss he  laid me down still kissing me, we then pulled away breathing heavily, he then kissed me but I then broke the kiss

''not here'' I said and I could see Neji was disappointed but agreed

''And besides, don't you think we should wait and get to know each other''

he looked even more disappointed now, he then said he will wait as long as it takes. He then stood up but I pulled him down and gave him a kiss which he returned.

I then made him sit down and sat on his lap and this turning into a make-out session when I pulled away I apologized about earlier in the kitchen and he said it's fine, he isn't too innocent too, and it made turn red, but he kissed me again.

We then heard a knock on the door, groaning when I pulled away from the kiss I went to open the door

''we're sorry'' the prodigies apologized

''no need to worry about it, I haven't seen you guys laugh like that in a while so I was happy to see you smiling, but for the record, I am not that old'' I said and that caused them to laugh again

1 week passed and the twins birthday was today, me and Neji got to know each other better, we took late-night strolls and everything to learn more about each other there wasn't much since we are on the same teams and spent most of our time when we went on a mission and stuff like that

the day after the twins birthday they got assigned their villages Kenji getting the Hidden waterfall Mayu's previous village and Haruki got the Hidden sand. We were said to come back in another 4 months for Akari's birthday and her assigned village, we would usually only gather when sensei has some important stuff to say, when a prodigy turns 16 or when one of us died, other than that we don't come to the hideout unless your under 16 you still stay here

sensei also said he was going to go search for some new students to teach since most of us are protecting the villages

I and Neji then said goodbye to the others and headed back to the leaf arriving there in less than 5 hours I then went to the Hokage and gave him the scroll Sasuke gave me and left

I promised the girls when we get back we could go to the hot springs, and we did they asked me a bunch of question about me and Neji and then they reminded me it's almost my birthday, I almost forgot

they asked me what I would be doing and I told them I had no idea, we then left and I went home

I saw Neji practice and decided to go check him out, I snuck up behind him and hugged him from behind.

He turned around and kissed me on the forehead, he asked me how my time was at the hot spring and I told him it was great and I told him that they asked me what I was going to do for my birthday and I told them I don't know, Neji them hummed he asked me if I wanted to do something tonight and I told him I wouldn't mind watching him practice, he then took me somewhere to sit and brought and blanket and wrapped it around me

he started practicing and I watched him and once he was done he came to sit next to me and I laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer, we were silent before I told Neji he should go take a shower he then looked down at me and stood up and crossed his arms and asked me if I think that he smelled and I nodded slowly he then turned his back and I grabbed him by his wrist stopping him I made him turn around and gave him a quick peck on the lips before I handed him the blanket and started running whispering goodnight not wanting to shout I then went to my room and looked out the window, Neji was shaking his head before he went inside, I smiled and then decided to go to bed
