y/n pov:

I took a deep breath ''so it's true you like someone?"

he then nodded yes

''wow I didn't expect you to like someone, but you should confess to her. I have an Idea how about I help you'' I gave him a thumbs up and a smile, he then turned to face me and looked at me puzzled

''how, and besides she likes someone else'' he turned his body to face me and I did the same

''you tell me who she is and I will help you, or you can just describe her, and I will then figure out who she is and help you, and how do you know she likes someone'' I crossed my arms

''ok I will describe her but it's no use she likes someone, and even if she didn't she is so beautiful she can get any man she wants so why would she want me'' he looked down

''I feel the same way you do, the one I like he is so handsome and he can date any girl in this entire world, so why would he want to date me...and besides he also likes someone else'' I laughed

''why don't you describe him and I can help you'' he looked at me

I felt a bit embarrassed to describe the person I like when he is sitting right in front of me, but I nodded yes and told him to go first

''so there this girl and she got these eyes that just, and this hair wow, and her smile it's just perfect, she is always so reckless and she always finds a way to make your day better even if I just see her my days just become so much better and when I first saw he I fell in love but didn't realize how important she was to me until things happened and it made me realize she is so important to me'' I could hear he was really in love with this girl

I then stood up and Neji did the same ''so there is this guy when I met him the first time I already knew I had fallen in love but never realized it when I was in the inner-mind the tailed beast asked me if I had a feeling because I always thought about him, and then I realized my feelings, Shikamaru told me to tell him before the war but I couldn't and when I woke up after the war I decided to tell him after I get out of the hospital but then I had to leave and I couldn't tell him so I decided that when I return I will tell him, I will tell him as his gift since I couldn't get anything for him'' I looked down, and it took me a few seconds to realize what I said.

I told Neji I was going to give him his gift because I didn't give him anything and now I told him that the one I like didn't get a gift

I then looked up at Neji, before I could speak he smashed his lips onto mine. I froze but then started kissing back, we pulled away and I looked away

''the one you like it's me, right'' he asked as he put his fingers on my chin and turned my face towards his ''and the girl I like it's you'' he admitted

a big smile formed on my face as I leaned in and gave him another kiss which he kissed back, I put my arms around his neck pulling him closer

''it's about time'' we heard a voice come from next to us, we then pulled away and saw Shikamaru, Sakura, Yoshiko, and Yuuta standing there, we then quickly let go of each other and looked away embarrassed

they then said it's no need to be so embarrassed. I asked them what they were doing here and Shikamaru said that Kakashi wants both of us to meet him

we nodded and left they followed behind us when we arrived Lord Kakashi welcomed me back,

"I'm sorry I know you just got back but I have two very important missions. The first one is to escort Yoshiko, Yuuta and kiyoshi back to their village. They have a very important scroll and rogue would do anything to get their hands on that scroll. After that you will go search for sasuke, I know you have a meeting in about 3 weeks so if you haven't found him before the meeting you are to resume searching for him after the meeting there is something important I want you to tell him face-to-face"

I nodded as lord kakashi continued

"Neji you will be going with them, y/n just came back from training non-stop for 8 months, we don't want to risk her using to much chakra"

He nodded

I stayed behind to get the information I had to tell sasuke and left heading home to pack the essential I then saw everyone at the gate ready to leave, and we left right after I got there

when nightfall came we made a camp and set up the tents, there were 4 tents one for each of us. Neji and I said we will take turns to go on night watch but he insisted on going first. I wanted to talk to him since the kiss but haven't gotten the chance so I then went to go sit next to him

he asked me why I didn't go to rest so I can do night watch. I laid my head on his shoulder, and asked him what we are now since everything happened, Neji then lifted my face so it was staring at his and then leaned in to kiss me and pulled away

''y/n would you please be my gf?'' Neji asked in a sweet tone

my heartfelt like jumping out of my ribcage, and I nodded yes

I then kissed him on the cheek and stood up, we were traveling for 2 days when we arrived at Kiyoshi, Yuuta, and Yoshika village and said goodbye and now we had to go find Sasuke

we were searching for about 2 weeks when we found him and I gave him a scroll, he quickly read it and nodded. He then wrote something in another scroll and handed it to me , he said I should give this when I go back no need to rush

we then left and headed towards the hideout, there was still one week left before the twins birthday. When we arrived at the hideout no one was there, I searched around but couldn't find anyone.

I ttold Neji we would be staying here till the birthday and the meeting then we will go back to the village. I showed Neji around and showed him where he would be sleeping, his room was right next to mine. By the time I was done showing him around it was night.
