I pulled back from the hug and looked at Neji and gave him a small smile. I took his hand and led him to the edge of the cliff and sat down signaling him to sit down. We then started talking about everything even if we wrote it in the letters we still talked about it
a few hours passed and I was getting tired, I put my head on Neji's shoulder, he stiffened for a few second but then relaxed. He was talking about the mission he had, I fell asleep listening to it not because it's borning but because I was really tired
Neji noticed and look at me admiring me, he woke me up and told me it's getting late and we should head back
we then started walking I was tired and found it hard to walk. Neji noticed as he stopped in front of me crouching a bit down and telling me to get on. I was hesitant at first but got on.I put my arms around his neck and rested my head against his back, it was nice to be close to Neji again. I was drifting off to sleep again and I heard Neji say something but couldn't hear since I was falling asleep
Neji pov:
''What are you doing to me y/n, what is this feeling I feel when I am around you'' I whispered hoping she didn't hear
I carried her to the apartment. It was locked but I found a spare key
'how reckless' I chuckled as I opened the door, taking y/n to her bed
and the next day y/n, Kiba, Sakura and I went to get some Ramen
3rd person pov:
''so did you meet any cute boys on the training'' Sakura asked catching everyone's attention especially Neji's
''Yeah but they weren't my type, and besides you know I like someone else '' y/n chuckled as she put some ramen in her mouth
''you girls arent the only ones who have crushes'' Kiba said nudging Neji on his side
y/n felt her heartbreak a little but didn't show it, and asked Neji if it was true and he nodded, and yet again it broke a little
You paid for the food leaving uchiraku
''are you going to confess Neji'' Sakura asked but got no response
''y/n are you going to confess'' Sakura turned to look at y/n, she was going to answer but saw some familiar faces
You met them on your travels, and became good friends. Y/n was going to call out to them but the sister beat her to it, her name was Yamazaki Yoshika and her brothers' name was Yamazaki Yuuto
y/n pov:
she then ran towards me, she was just a year younger than me and Yuuto was the same age.
she then hugged me she and pulled away. Yuuto was in front of me now ( Yoshika has brown hair and light blue eyes and she wore a black dress and black shoes, she wasn't on a mission she must have come to visit and Yuuto has the same brown hair and blue eyes and he wore a blue shirt )
I then went to hug him and asked them what they were doing here
''Kiyoshi is on a mission'' Yuuto answered in a monotone voice (Kiyoshi was one of their friends, I became friends with him to and we were closer than I was with Yuuta and Yoshika because Kiyoshi was Mayu's little brother, Nakamura Kiyoshi. He lived in the village hidden in the shadow but moved to the village hidden in the stars, where we made our last stop. That's were I met them, well just Yuuto and Yoshika I already knew Kiyoshi, he looked just like Mayu with his black hair and green eyes)

I then introduced Yoshiko and Yuuta to Neji, Kiba, and sakura. Right after I mentioned Neji's name both my eyes and Yoshiko's widened, when I met Yoshiko we became great friends and I talked a lot about Neji, I even told her I liked him
''so you're Neji, the one y/n always-'' I closed her mouth by placing my the hand over her mouth, and laughed nervously and gave Yoshiko a deadly glare. She removed my hand from her mouth and continued talking ''and your Sakura lady Tsunade's apprentice, it's a great pleasure to meet you'' she bowed
I sensed Kiyoshi heading towards us. I looked behind sakura and there he was standing. I ran to hug him, he was like my little brother but before we became as close as we are mayu thought at some point I had feelings for Kiyoshi
I pulled away from the hug a gave him a quick peck on his cheek, and he then glared at me
''seriously y/n you always do this, I am not a baby anymore'' he wined as he tried to get me off him
''that's not how you treat your favorite person in the entire world'' I let go of him and crossed my arms
''who said you were my favorite'' he copied my movements, his comment cause my mouth to hang open in shock
I was shocked by what he said and got depressed, I crouched down and hid my face in my knees ''ahh Kiyoshi don't say that''
''n-no y/n please don't do that thing where you go all depressed'' he said waving his hand next to me and tried to calm me down
''It doesn't matter if I am not your favorite person at least I am Yoshiko's, right'' I stood up and walked towards Yoshiko and stood proud next to her
''no you'renot y/n'' she answered bluntly
''well at least I am his favorite person, right Neji'' I walked proudly towards Neji, Yoshiko then spoke up
"well I know he is your favorite person you do-'' I ran towards Yoshiko and tackled her to the floor
''Yoshiko!'' I clasped her mouth shut and looked at her shaking my head no
''Have you told him yet'' she whispered and I nodded no again ''sorry'' she apologized as I stood up
''you're not forgiven'' I crossed my arms, she then began apologizing a lot and said I am her favorite person, I turned to look at Kiyoshi with a smug look on my face
''fine you're my favorite person'' he laughed finally giving in. I ruffled his hair, but he slapped my hand away
Neji and the others were confused
''ooh sorry this is Kiyoshi, he is Mayu's little brother'' I introduced him
the other then introduced themselves as well
''sorry but I have someplace I need to be'' I hear Neji says as he disappeared. I sensed something was wrong so I told the other I had something to do
I followed Neji but hid my presence. I saw him walking towards our spot he sat down and looked in front of him, I then went to sit down next to him and he turned to face me.
I smiled at him, but he just turned to look in front of him again
''I haven't given your gift yet, I will give it to you if you promise to answer a question'' I said causing him to look at me from the corner of his eye and nodded
