*2 months since Neji left*

it's been 2 months since Neji left for his mission and I am 3 months pregnant now. I am making my way to the hospital so sakura can check to see if everything is ok. I asked her if it's fine if we find out the babies gender when Neji comes back and she nodded. I was starting to grow a small bump, and sakura said that she can sense the babies chakra.

I ttold her that I could to. I made my way out of the hospital and I walked around town with my hand on my stomach. I was trying to hide both my chakra and the baby so the others won't notice me and come to greet me and then sense the babies chakra

I wanted Neji to be the first to know. I headed home and closed the door behind me as I turned around I saw Neji standing at the window looking into the compound. I ran towards him and hugged him from behind, he tturned around and hugged me back and kissed me everywhere

''I didn't sense your chakra nearby is something wrong that you have to hide it'' he asked sounding concerned

''I did it so no one could sense my chakra, I hid it because I wanted you to be the first one to know'' I said as I stop hiding my presence and took his hand putting it on my stomach

I think he sensed the baby chakra bc his eyes widened

''I am going to be a father''

I nodded and said '' and I am going to be a mother''

''I am going to be a father!'' he said as he smiled even bigger now

''and I am going to be a mother!'' I said excitedly, Neji then picked me up and twirled me around

''We are going to have a child'' he put me down ad kissed me, I pulled away and nodded

''how long?

''3 months'' I smiled

''ooh, I am so sorry I couldn't come earlier'' he looked down. I cupped his face with my hands

''it's ok you're here now'' I smiled as I gave him a quick peck. I told him what the tailed beasts told me and that sakura knows and I asked her to keep it secret

we were walking around town as Neji had he one had around my waist pulling me closer to him

I asked him how the mission was and he said it was exhausting, and he told me how much he missed me

''there you are we have been looking for you y/n'' Naruto shouted pointing at us and the others turned their attention and they then ran towards us

''We were worried we see you go into the hospital every month, and when we asked sakura she just said she doesn't know'' naruto said stopping in front of us he then turned to look at the others since they weren't saying anything, they all had a surprised look on their faces ''what's the matter, you guys''

''y/n you're-you're..'' Shikamaru said

''pregnant'' Hinata finished his sentence, they all looked at me and I gave them a small smile and nodded, naruto's eyes widened

''Neji probably doesn't know because he isn't the father you guys shouldn't have said anything'' naruto said raising his voice and turning to face the others and I heard them laugh

''And what tells you Neji isn't the father'' Ino asked as she crossed her arms

'' because when you said that he didn't nod and he had a shocked expression on his face'' Naruto then pointed towards Neji

I couldn't help but laugh ''no Naruto he is the father and I wanted to tell him first''

''And besides, I had a shocked expression because you didn't realize it yourself'' he said nodding his head, the other then laughed at naruto and he gave an awkward smile

news spread fast around the village and everyone congratulated me. Neji and I were talking that night, he said that he wants to marry me in the future but there might be a problem

''what's the problem''

''I might have to marry Hinata"

''but you practically cousins'' I cut him off

he then started explaining everything to me something about passing on the Byakugan to the next generations, I finally understood

''don't worry I will make a plan''

the next day I insisted on us going to the Hyuga and speak to the head

I don't care if your the head of the family or not I am not afraid of you, and you should know better then anyone how strong I am, just remember who gave you chakra to heal yourselves in the war, and my child won't be weak, and when Neji and I marry each other and you don't except him than that's your stupidity, you will lose a powerful ally and make a powerful enemy, and if we marry and you come to except it, my child won't receive a seal mark I won't put that child through what you put Neji you got that mister head of the Hyuga''

I let go of his collar and sat down next to Neji again and he had a smirk on his face

''I love y/n and if you don't want me to marry her I won't do as you say, I won't leave the one I love behind'' he put his arms around my waist ''and the child will be even more powerful than me and even her mother, so do you think the child will be weak''

the head then shook his head and laughed ''I was already planning on saying yes, I just needed to test you see if you would do anything to convince me, and I know better than anyone that the child will be very powerful'', we looked at him with confusion,

I then thanked him

when we were outside the compound both me and Neji were excited.
