neji pov:

I heard y/n laugh ''yeah thats right''

I was upset when I heard what y/n said but I meant what I said I will be there to protect her

''I heard you guys argueing from the- '' sakura said as she opened the door but stopped talking when she saw me and y/n hugging, neither one of us bother to move to face Sakura

''I will just leave you two'' she said closing the door, leaving me and y/n alone again. We were standing there enjoy each others warmth

''there is something I need to tell you but promise me you won't do anything to stop them'' I admitted nervous about what her reaction might be

''ok I promise''

''so Akihiro and the twins are searching for a replacement for Mayu'' I replied saying mayu's name slow

''their doing what?!'' she pulled away from the hug looking at me

''and I was helping them''

she tilted her head to the side not sure what to think about the situation ''you did?''

''yeah'' I answered soft looking down to avoid meeting her gaze

''you should rest, you need to heal I will come again, just not tomorrow. I have somewhere I need to go so it might take some time before I come visit you again'' she let go of me heading towards the door

''where are you going?'' I sassed standing behind her as she was about to open the door

''I am going to help them search for a replacement, goodbye neji''she opened the door and left, leaving me to stand at the door and a few seconds later Sakura came back

''she sure is persitent'' she said crossing her arms, I then nodded and turned to face her

''Sakura can you please go tell Lady Tsunade to meet me I have a request I need to make''

Sakura than nodded and left. I walked back towards the bed and sat down waiting for Lady Tsunade, and a few hours later she did come

''Neji I heard you have a request, what is it?'' she asked right after she stepped into the room getting right to the point

''I want y/n to be at headquaters when the war starts and I want you to send her to help us only if we really need it'' I turned to look at Lady Tsunade following her movements with my eyes

''and why is that'' she stopped in front of me

''y/n told me she will die in the war, so if she dies before the real battle has began we will loose a really powerful shinobi'' I looked at Lady Tsunade as she sat down on a chair in front of me

''I see'' she put her fingers on her chin ''I will make a plan and also talk to Shikaku, she will be really helpful at headquaters, thank you for telling us Neji''

I then nodded

y/n pov:

I went to go tell Lady Tsunade I will be leaving for about 2 days and she said it's perfectly fine. I left right away, heading towards where the prodigies were

''hey guys'' I said leaning next a tree, they looked at me surprised

"what are you doing here?'' Akihiro asked turning to look at me

''I came to help search for a repacement but only for 2 or 3 days since we are going to war, and speaking of the war... would you mind helping in the war'' I asked stopping infront of them and gave them a smile

i could see they were concerned and I understand why, one of the rules of being a prodigy is that we are not aloud to help in wars if the war is between nations or villages

''don't worry the nations aren't fighting each other they are joining forces to fight this time'' I gave them a reassuring smile, and they the nodded not wanting to ask any questions and get right back to searching which we did, we searched for about 2 days and it was almost time for me to head back

but I stopped in my tracks, causing Akihiro and the twins to follow. I asked if they sensed that and they said no, I than started running and they stared following me

once we got closer I am pretty sure the others senced it to, it was a huge amount of chakra and powerful, we stopped once we got close enough and saw a girl practing in the middle of an open field

''wait here i will talk to her'' I told the prodgies jumping down from a tree and headed towards the girl. She had stopped training when she saw me coming closer

''hey I have been travelling for days to find a worthy oppent to fight me, or actually a strong opponent to beat me'' I walked towards her ''so do you want to spar'' I raised my eyebrows and got in a fighting stance

to my surprise she didn't say no and got ready to fight, she was the first one to make a move and I would either block her attack or avoid them

''so my name is y/n l/n one of the prodigies''

''yeah I have heard about you, what are you doing here challenging me?'' she asked trying to hit me

''we are searching for a new team mate, one of our previous team mates died during battle, we usually get new replacements for them after they die but it took us a while to find someone'' I said as I caught her fist she was aiming at my face

''and I am guessing you're asking me?''

''yeah'' she then tried to kick me on my side but I grabbed her foot ''will you join?''

''let me think about it''

Iloosend my grip and the moment I do so she attacks me, in a blink of an eye she is lying on the floor on her stomach, I had her hand behing her back and sat on her (like the picture above)

''where you trying to see if you could take me down and if you did you would have said no right'' I tightend my grip around her hand, she tried to get out of my grasp moving around a lot ''listen not to be rude, but I don't have time I need to go prepare for war, we need to prepare for war''

''we?'' she stopped moving and paid attention to what I was saying

''yeah the other prodigies are here to'' I singaled them to come out ''so is that a yes?''

''yeah I will join, and the war will I be fighting?''

''no, you will be training with sensei'' I got off her and helped her up ''so you know who we are so there is no need for me to introduce''

''yeah I have heard about you, thats akihiro, that's kenji and that is Haruki''

''great and who are you?'' I walked toward the prodigies stopping when I got next to them

''my name is Akari Watanabe nice to meet you''

''nice to meet you too'' I bowed and then turned to the prodiges and told them to take her to sensei and then immmediatly come to help prepare

I wanted to got the hospital to tell Neji we found someone when I saw Shikamaru, and he told me to go to Lady Tsunade

''good y/n you're back we need to talk'' she then signaled towards the open chair ''y/n you won't be fighting the war, you will be at headquaters''

I looked at her surprsied as I took my seat

''we want to use you as a trump card, use you when we are running low on man power'' she leaned forward resting her head on her palms

''I won't be much help, not with my current state, so I do think it's best for me to be at headquater but I want you to send me to fight when your running low on man power I want u to send me out when they are in danger, and the other prodigies will be helping so they will be there to for when you run low on man power''

''I understand, thank you, and you will be helping us with communication, can you do some sort of communication jutsu like the Yamanak clan?''

I only nodded in response and laid back in my seat

''you will be leaving to go to the cloud in 2 days, you are dismissed''
