As the four friends arrived at the studio they all filed in and sat down. Geoun was sandwiched between Changbin and Jisung while Chan plugged in his laptop and sat on the rolling chair.

"Alright, we finished this the other night, but if there's anything you guys don't like, we can fix it tonight, yeah?" Chan looked at his friends and they nodded. He pressed play and let their song flow from the speakers.

It was perfect. Each verse had it's own story, and they were all tied together by the chorus and outro. Jisung patted Geoun's back because of the affect her musical input had. The orchestral opening and choir in the background was exactly what the song needed.

As the song ended, nobody said a word. Chan took this as a bad sign and sighed.

"I'm sorry, we can fix-"

"It was perfect. I love it," Jisung smiled at his older friend.

"It really is. That's some amazing arranging, Chan. And good input from Geoun," Changbin smiled at the two.

"Geoun? What'd you think?" Chan had a smile on his face.

"Well I didn't get to hear the whole thing before, but I love it. It really is perfect. You're an amazing arranger," she smiled at Chan.

"So," Jisung coughed awkwardly. "What now?"

"Well, I have an announcement." Chan stood up and smiled at Geoun.

Jisung raised his eyebrows and Geoun's cheeks started to blush. Changbin sat forward and leaned on his knees. But all three pairs of eyes were on Chan.

He had a huge smile on his face as he looked at Geoun. "I uh, I asked Geoun out."

Jisung took in a sharp breath and turned to the blushing girl next to him. "What'd you say?!"

"Um, yes," Geoun was immediately wrapped in a hug from her younger friend as he squealed and bounced on the couch. Giggles escaped the two as Changbin just stood and congratulated Chan.

"Took you long enough," he chuckled and patted Chan's back.

After Jisung had finally stopped hugging Geoun, he grabbed her hand and made her stand up and go to Chan.

"I've wanted this since I met you Geoun, you two look so good together!" Jisung fanboyed over his friends.

Geoun hid her blushing cheeks in Chan's chest as he chuckled and held her.

"I think this calls for celebration. Who's up for ice cream?" Jisung couldn't stop smiling, he was so happy for Chan.

"I'm down," Changbin spoke up.

"We are too," Geoun spoke and revealed her face that was still a bit pink, she just couldn't stop smiling.

The four friends walked down the street to an ice cream parlor and ordered their desserts. Since Jisung had brought up the idea, he paid for everyone and they sat at a table in the back and enjoyed the next hour or so talking, laughing, and even thinking up ideas for their next song.

Though it seemed like no time had passed, Jisung got a frown as he checked his phone.

"Hey, it's pretty late for a school night. My parents have started getting really strict about being out too late. Binnie, can you give me a ride?" Jisung stood up and threw his trash away.

"Yeah, I should probably head home too. My parents don't like me out too late either," Changbin then stood up and threw away his trash before turning to Chan and Geoun. "Thanks for dinner, Chan. And congratulations to both of you." Changbin smiled at the couple before heading out.

Jisung followed the older boy after giving a departure hug to Geoun.

"Well, now it's just us. Uh, anything you wanna do?" Chan awkwardly smiled at Geoun.

"Not really, I'm just kinda sleepy," Geoun's sleepy smile melted Chan's heart.

He chuckled and threw away their trash before extending his hand out for her. Geoun placed her hand in his and felt herself being pulled up. Chan brought her hand up and gently kissed her knuckles as he led her out of the shop and back to his car.

"Where are we going?" A yawn escaped Geoun's mouth as Chan opened her door for her.

"My babygirl's tired. I was thinking maybe you should sleep. I know you didn't get much sleep last night." Chan started to drive once they were both buckled in.

"I don't want to, but I know you're probably right. And I still can't believe that we're dating! It feels like a dream and I don't want to wake up." Geoun smiled and looked over to Chan.

He quickly placed a sweet kiss on her nose before the stoplight turned green. "Tell you what, I can stay until you fall asleep?"

A soft smile stretched across Geoun's face, "I'd like that."

Once the couple arrived back at the dorm, Chan led his sleepy girlfriend to her bedroom and allowed her privacy to get ready for bed. He made conversation with her roommates in the living room until Geoun came in to let him know she was ready.

Geoun climbed onto her bed and scooted over allowing Chan enough room to slip in beside her. He laid on his back, allowing Geoun to cuddle next to him and nestle her face into his neck. Within a few minutes, Geoun's slow and steady breathing could be heard and Chan knew she was asleep. He smiled and kissed Geoun's head before closing his eyes and enjoying the moment.

--------------------

Chan had accidentally fallen asleep with Geoun, but it wouldn't be the last time. As the months progressed, so did their relationship. Their sleepovers became more frequent, and they both grew to love each other.

During a long weekend, Geoun's parents had even come down to meet the boy who stole their daughter's heart. They loved Chan, and Geoun's dad was already joking about him being family. They had already heard a lot about him from Mingyu, who was now on another deployment.

Before they knew it, their first year in college was over. Geoun was able to stay with Jennie and Jisoo for the summer so that she could still see Chan and all her friends. She had gotten a summer job to help with the rent, but that quickly turned into a regular job once her sophomore year started, and Chan asked her to get an apartment with him.

It was close enough to campus that they could walk, and still close to their friends. He assured her that she didn't need to pay for anything, but she wanted to help in some way. So while Chan covered the rent itself, Geoun took over paying for the utilities and groceries.

Everything was starting to look up for Geoun. She was truly happy. Her relationship with Chan had blossomed into something so beautiful that she still couldn't believe it was real. He made her feel safe, loved, and special each and every day.

Life was so good she had even forgotten about the troubles she faced when first arriving at college. The two people who made her first few weeks a living hell hadn't even shown up in her life since that day at the elevator.

With everything finally looking up, how could anything bring Geoun down?
