Chapter 19

When Geoun woke up in the morning, she was confused about how she ended up in bed, but shook off the thought. She got ready and headed to the music department for her daily practice.

As she finished practicing and put everything away, she entered the lobby and saw her classmates heading to class. She looked around for Chan or BamBam and smiled when she saw them coming towards her.

"Hey! I was getting a little worried when I didn't see you guys," she smiled at her friends.

"We wouldn't leave our favorite girl hanging," BamBam winked and smiled.

She giggled as his arm slung around her. Her attention then turned to Chan.

"Hey." He smiled and cutely waved at Geoun.

Her smile quickly disappeared when a group entered the building though. BamBam's arm tightened around her body more securely and Chan turned to see what happened. A scowl took over his face as he saw Yugyeom and Jungkook talking and laughing.

Their gaze landed on Geoun but they never approached her. Instead they headed into the classroom that Geoun was now debating on skipping.

"Hey," BamBam gently rubbed Geoun's arm. "It's going to be okay. Come on." He led Geoun into the classroom and sat as far from Yugyeom and Jungkook as he could.

Chan followed and sat behind Geoun. He quickly sent a text before the class started.

Chris🐨: hey, i know this is the only class i have with you, but if yugyeom is causing problems in other classes let me or bambam know.

Geoun checked her phone and turned around to Chan, a smile on her face. He also smiled and sent a thumbs up before the class started.

The rest of the day Geoun spent avoiding Yugyeom and Jungkook at all costs. Which honestly wasn't that difficult because they weren't trying to talk to her anyway.

Geoun entered her last class and saw Yugyeom and Jungkook having a friendly conversation at the back of the room. She scoffed and rolled her eyes then smiled when she spotted BamBam saving a seat for her.

"Thanks Bam," she smiled as she sat next to her friend.

"Of course Geounnie!" His attention turned to the back of the room where Jungkook and Yugyeom started laughing.

"What's with him? I thought he hated Jungkook," Geoun also stared back at the laughing boys.

"I don't know. Yug didn't stay in the dorm all weekend. I didn't know where he was, but now I'm thinking he stayed with Jungkook. This isn't the Yugyeom I know. I have no idea what he's doing," BamBam's usually cheerful tone had been replaced by a somber one, filled with pity for his friend.

The professor entered the class and began his lecture. Geoun and BamBam took their notes and marked the homework for the night as class came to an end.

BamBam walked with Geoun back to the dorm, it was a beautiful day so they had decided to not take the shuttle. After BamBam dropped her off at her room, Geoun decided to get a head start on her homework and take a nap before dinner.

Just as she finished her homework, a text came through on her phone.

Yug: hey. i'm sorry for the way i've been acting. meet me at the fountain on campus and we can talk? ill be waiting.

Geoun didn't respond. She didn't know what to say. She didn't know what to think. Just a few hours earlier, Yugyeom was acting like best friends with Jungkook, and now he wants to apologize? She was beyond suspicious and called BamBam.
