Chapter 23

The next week flew by. Geoun spent the majority of her time practicing at the school or in the studio with Chan, Jisung, and Changbin. Even a few nights were spent out with the girls. And with no issues arising from Yugyeom or Jungkook, Geoun was quite enjoying herself. She was smiling way more than her first week at college and found herself genuinely laughing with her new friends.

Before she knew it, it was Friday and Geoun was waiting outside the dorm building looking for her brother's car. Once she spotted the red sedan, a smile filled her face and she jumped up from the bench and ran towards her brother. 

After parking the car, a tall and quite handsome man stepped out and turned around just in time to catch Geoun as she jumped into his arms.

"Mingyu!" Geoun giggled into her brother's chest as she squeezed him in a hug.

"Hey kiddo," Mingyu smiled and returned the hug to his little sister. "I missed you, and goddamn you got strong."

Geoun giggled as she was set back on the ground. "I missed you too Mingyu. I'm so excited you're here. I have so many people for you to meet!"

"Yeah? Well come on then!" Mingyu grabbed his sister's hand and they started towards the dorm building.

Geoun excitedly led her brother to her dorm and knocked on the door before entering, letting her roommates know her brother was here.

"Guys! This is my brother, Mingyu." Geoun smiled as she introduced her brother.

Lisa, Chungha, and Rose all smiled and introduced themselves.

"So you ladies been taking care of my baby sister?" Mingyu sat down on the couch and Geoun sat next to him.

"For sure, Geoun's awesome. Girl knows how to have fun," Lisa winked at Geoun and smiled.

"Oh does she now?" Mingyu looked down at his sister and chuckled.

"Totally. Hey, are you guys coming to the game night tonight?" Rose looked between the siblings.

"Game Night?" Mingyu raised an eyebrow and looked at Geoun.

"Yeah, so. All of our friends - there's a lot - have this game night every now and then at a house. And there's one tonight, and I want you to come to meet everyone," Geoun gave her brother puppy eyes.

"Well shit you know I can't say no to you. Okay, game night it is." Mingyu smiled at the girls and they all smiled and cheered.

"It's not until like 7 and Geoun knows the address if you guys wanna hang before then. Maybe get some boba or something?" Chungha piped up.

"Sounds like a plan, well it was lovely meeting you girls. I'll see you all tonight?" Mingyu stood up.

"You too! Can't wait for you to meet everyone else! Have fun guys!" Rose smiled and waved and Mingyu and Geoun headed out of the room.

"Bye!" Geoun smiled and shut the door. She and Mingyu headed to the elevator and pressed the button waiting for it to open. "I'm so happy you're here," Geoun smiled up at her brother as the elevator dinged and opened.

Geoun walked forward and bumped right into somebody's chest.

"Oh! I'm so sorr-" Geoun's cheeks turned red and her heart fluttered. "Chan? Hey, uh sorry," she giggled nervously and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Hey Geoun," Chan smiled at how cute she looked while nervous. "Uh, hi?" Chan suddenly noticed the taller male behind Geoun.

"Oh! Right, um. Chan this is my brother, Mingyu. Uh, Mingyu, this is Chan," Geoun introduced the two but felt nervous about them meeting, she couldn't pinpoint why.
