Heart Strings

Chapter 4

The six girls separated between Rose's and Jisoo's cars then quickly headed to the party.

After some GTA level driving and parking in the front yard, the girls arrived and headed inside only to be greeted by blasting music and drunk people stumbling around the giant living room in front of them. They turned when they heard their names being called and walked over to the dining room where Geoun started to recognize the guys from the restaurant.

Jennie, Chungha, Lisa, and Rose made their way to their boyfriends while Geoun went to talk with Yugyeom and BamBam, and Jisoo made her way to speak with Jaebum.

"Geounnie!" BamBam smiled like a kid when Geoun stopped in front of him and Yugyeom.

"Hihi!" She giggled and waved at the boys.

"Damn you clean up nice. You'd better watch out tonight. Some of these upper classmen don't know how to properly interact with such a beautiful girl."

Geoun blushed and nodded at Yugyeom's words as she looked down to her feet.

"Way to go, Yug. You made her nervous and scared." BamBam lightly slapped the back of the younger boy's head causing a giggle from Geoun. He smiled when he saw she was okay now. "Don't worry Geoun. As long as you're with one of us, you'll be okay."

The girl was about to say something, but a voice speaking through the speakers cut her off.

"What's up party people?!" A male voice boomed across the room and the drunk teenagers cheered, half of them not even knowing what was going on.

"How about this music so far?" Another round of cheers errupted and Geoun finally saw who was speaking and recognized it as Jaebum. "Well listen up, one of my new friends is going to take over DJ-ing for a bit. Let's show some love for CB97!"

As Jaebum stepped down from the stage, Geoun's eyes widened as she saw the fluffy blonde head of Chan hop up and put on some headphones before messing with the equipment and music started playing.

All eyes were on him, and he knew it. But rather than look up and make himself nervous, he kept his focus on the equipment before him. The first song started off kind of slow and calming, but then a sudden bass drop changed the whole mood. The drunk students started a moshpit in the middle of the room as the bass continued to thump.

Geoun was amazed to say the least at the type of music that Chan was making. She loved it. It was so different from anything she'd ever heard before and it made her want to just let loose and have fun. Only after a hand waved in front of her face did she realize she had been staring at Chan.

"Huh?" She traced the hand back to Yugyeom and saw him and BamBam trying not to laugh.

"Ooh, does someone have a crush on our Channie boy?" BamBam wiggled his eyebrows and laughed when Geoun's face went ketchup red.

"N-no! His music is just interesting." Geoun looked away praying that they would stop teasing her.

"Anyway, would you like to-"

"Geoun!" Chungha's voice cut Yugyeom off. "Come on, us girls are going to dance!" The blonde came and grabbed Geoun's hand while giving the puppy dog face.

"Okay okay!" Geoun giggled then shot a smile to Yugyeom and BamBam as she was pulled the center of the room by Chungha.

"Look who I found!" Chungha pulled Geoun in front of her and the younger girl saw Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose smiling.

"Let's dance!" Lisa grabbed one of Geoun's hands and one of Jennie's as she started dancing a bit weird, but Geoun just went with it.

"Okay we'll be back!" Chungha sent a wink to the girls dancing and hooked arms with Rose as they headed towards the kitchen/bar.
