sorry this took so long 😅

He didn't want to wake her up, but knew that she would be much more comfortable in her own bed.

"Geoun," he whispered softly and stroked her hair. "Geoun, come on. You gotta wake up," He gently shook her body and smiled when she stretched and yawned before opening her eyes.

She smiled up at Chan but didn't sit up.

"Hey," while still laying on his lap, Geoun looked around. "Where'd everybody go?"

Chan smiled at her. "They had to go home, and I thought you might be more comfortable sleeping in your own bed. So, uh. You ready to go back?"

Geoun pouted but nodded before sitting up and rubbing her eyes.  "I guess. my roommates are all gone and I've already finished my homework so it'll just be a night of K-dramas and survival shows for me."

"You're complaining? That sounds like the dream," Chan chuckled as he stood up and put his things away.

Geoun hesitated but took a chance,"You wanna join me?"

Chan's face went red and his hands became sweaty with nervousness. "Um. I-I'd like that actually." He smiled at Geoun as she returned the gesture.

He followed her out of the studio and opened the car door for her. They soon arrived back at the dorms and Chan followed Geoun into her dorm and sat down on the couch. After setting up the TV, Geoun sat next to Chan.

The K-drama was playing but it was still pretty awkward between the two. About five minutes later, Geoun nervously coughed and turned to Chan.

"Are you hungry? I'm not a great cook but I make some pretty good ramen," Chan could tell she was nervous and he found it absolutely adorable.

"Uh yeah. Ramen sounds good." He smiled as she stood up and headed into the kitchen.

"Okay it'll take a few minutes but I'll bring it out when it's done!" Geoun face palmed herself. Of course he knew it'd be a few minutes, he's made ramen before. Damnit why am I so nervous!

Chan smiled at her cuteness and paused the K-drama so Geoun wouldn't miss any.

After making two bowls of the best looking spicy ramen that Geoun had ever made, she took them to the living room where Chan was waiting. Geoun set the bowls on the coffee table and handed Chan some chopsticks before awaiting his review of her food.

After not-so-gracefully slurping some noodles, Chan hummed in delight and smiled as he slurped some more noodles. Geoun took this as a good sign and smiled before trying the noodles herself.

"Not bad, but I think my ramen is better," Chan smirked and ate some more ramen as he hit play.

"I call bullshit, I'm gonna have to test it out myself," Geoun  smiled and took a bite of her noodles.

"Bet, it's a date," Chan's mouth spewed the words before his brain could process them and his face went tomato red. "I-I mean. Uh, I meant-"

"Yeah, it's a date," Geoun smiled at Chan and it seemed to calm him down because a goofy smile appeared on his face.

Geoun looked down to her bowl of noodles and smiled. The air between her and Chan was no longer awkward. Chan had even scooted a bit closer to Geoun, their bodies now touching.

The K-drama played in the background as the two finished their ramen. Once their empty bowls were stacked on the table, Chan made a bold move and pulled Geoun closer as he put his arm around her shoulders.

She instinctively leaned in towards him and cuddled into his side. As she settled, Geoun laid her head on Chan's chest and couldn't wipe the smile off of her face.
