Chapter 15

Geoun didn't know where she was going to go at 2:15 in the morning, but she definitely wasn't going to stay in that house with Yugyeom. She had been so occupied with her thoughts that when she finally looked around, she had no idea where she was.

She frantically pulled out her phone and went to her Google Maps and tried to recognize where she was.

She didn't recognize any of the nearby buildings or the street names as she passed each intersection.

She was about to give up, but a really nice car pulled up next to her on the curb and the window rolled down.

"You lost babygirl?" The voice was deep and sparked anger in Geoun.

"Leave me alone Jungkook." Geoun quickly walked away from his car, but the stubborn boy followed her.

"You know. It's pretty dangerous to be out so late. Especially as a single, young female. I'm just trying to be a gentleman," he smirked and raised an eyebrow as he stopped yet again.

"No thank you," Geoun walked a bit faster but Jungkook kept following her. She looked back to watch him as she started running. Big mistake.

The poor girl ran smack into somebody, causing them both to fall down.

Jungkook laughed from his car then sped off leaving Geoun to apologize to the person she knocked over.

"I'm so sorry! A-are you hurt?" Geoun grabbed the person's arm and helped them up. Damn. He's cute.

"I'm fine, thank you. How about yourself?" The young man looked over Geoun's body to see if there were any cuts. He smiled when he found none, then looked at her face.

"I-i think I'm okay," Geoun gave a small smile and blushed.

Silence.

"Uh. I'm Geoun!" Geoun smiled cutely and waved.

"I'm Si Cheng, but my friends call me WinWin. Nice to meet you Geoun." He smiled cutely as well, causing his ears to rise up. "If I may ask, what is a young lady like you doing out alone at this time of night?"

"Uh. It's a long story," Geoun looked down, memories of what Yugyeom did coming to mind.

"I've got time, and you definitely shouldn't be alone. There's a noodle shop ahead, may I accompany you there?"

Geoun was taken aback by his kind and gentleman-like manners. She just nodded and took his outstretched arm in hers as he guided her to the only lit up sign that read "24 hour Noodle Shop".

Once inside, WinWin led Geoun to a corner booth and waited until she was seated then sat across from her.

A young girl brought two menus to the table and bowed before heading back to her station.

"Order whatever you'd like, it's on me. I'm sure you're hungry," WinWin smiled and looked at the menu.

"Um, just some beef ramen sounds good," Geoun didn't even look at the menu, but WinWin nodded at her choice.

"Sounds good, I'll have the same." He waved down the waitress and ordered two bowls of beef ramen then the girl scurried to the kitchen to begin their orders.

"So. Geoun. What's a pretty young girl like yourself doing out alone this time of night?" WinWin sipped his water and sat back.

"Um. W-well." Geoun bit the inside of her cheek. She hated talking. "So my friends and I were having a game night, and then something happened."

Geoun went on to detail her nervousness about what Yugyeom had wanted to talk to her about, and even told WinWin about how Yugyeom kissed her. How upset she was and how she left crying. She mentioned Jungkook's harassment from his car and that's why she ran into him. She also mentioned all the previous harassment from Jungkook and the vague threats he's made towards her. By the end of her rambling two bowls of steaming beef ramen were placed in front of the two.
