Chapter 8

Geoun was having a wonderful time with the guys and didn't want to leave, but they decided to head back for last minute preparations before classes started tomorrow.

When they arrived back at the dorm building, Yugyeom offered to walk Geoun back to her room, so BamBam and a jealous Chan headed back to their room.

"So Geoun, how was dinner?"

"Oh it was amazing! That's some of the best pizza I've ever had! Also, you didn't have to pay for me. I could've gotten it," Geoun smiled up at the taller boy.

"It's alright I promise. I wanted to! Besides. Maybe you can pay me back some day?" Yugyeom looked at the girl hoping she'd catch his drift.

"When we all go out again? Sure! I loved hanging out with you and Bam and Chan. I definitely want to do it again!" The clueless girl smiled again as she stopped in front of her door.

Yugyeom chuckled and shook his head. "Deal. Now go get ready for classes, We'll see you in Theory at 8 am tomorrow! Goodnight Geounnie, sleep well!"

Geoun smiled, waved, and entered her room as Yugyeom disappeared down the hall.

"Hey girlie, how was dinner?" Rose greeted Geoun from the couch.

"Huh? Oh, it was really nice. BamBam and Yugyeom have a couple of classes with me and want me to sit with them!"

"That's awesome! The music majors are a small community so you'll see us all a lot. But that's awesome that you have them in classes! What about Chan? Wasn't he there?" Lisa joined the other girls on the couch.

"Oh, yeah he was there. But he was really quiet. It was pretty weird. He was so nice last night at the party. And he talked to me and stuff, but whenever Yugyeom or BamBam are there he gets weird. I don't know," Geoun shrugged her shoulders and leaned back as she checked her phone.

"He's a strange one. But I feel like he's super cool once you get past his outer shell, ya know?" Rose sipped her drink and turned back to the TV.

"Or maybe he's just jealous because of Yugyeom's obvious crush on our Geounnie!" Lisa smiled and giggled.

"His what now?" Geoun looked up from her phone genuinely surprised.

"You haven't noticed? Girrrrrlllll," Chungha entered the room and immediately joined the conversation as she sat next to Geoun.

"The way he looks at you? The way he smiles at you?" Rose spoke up.

"How he enjoys making you laugh? How he wants to protect you?" Lisa added on.

"It might not seem like much, but you're the first girl he hasn't treated like a guy, Geoun. He likes you!" Chungha finished and giggled a little.

"For real, He treats us like his little BROTHERS," Lisa emphasizes the word 'brothers'.

"Wait, but that's all just common courtesy! All guys act like that. Right?" Geoun looked around at her new friends.

"Not for Yug. Him and BamBam are gentlemen when they need to be, but they only ever treat the girls they like like this. And it seems our dear Geounnie has captured the heart of Yugyeom!" Lisa smiled and patted Geoun's head.

"Noooooooo," Geoun's 'no' was cut off as she buried her head in a couch pillow.

"Babe what's wrong?" Rose sat next to the girl and rubbed her back. The other two girls were also shocked by Geoun's reaction.

"I've never had a boy like me like that. I don't know what to do." Geoun looked at her friends in despair.

"Oh sweetheart, it's okay. The first thing we gotta do is figure out if you like him back. So um. Do you like Yugyeom?" Chungha gave a reassuring smile to the younger girl.
