Chan didn't really know where he was taking Geoun, just that she needed to get away from campus. The two started walking and ended up somewhere in the town surrounding their university.
Geoun was walking a bit behind Chan with her head down, not really paying attention. The blond boy however had noticed they were in front of a bubble tea shop and thought it might cheer Geoun up.
"Hey, you want some boba?" Chan stopped walking and turned to Geoun who slightly smiled and nodded. The pair then entered the shop and ordered, Chan refused to let Geoun pay.
As Geoun sat down with her Thai Milk Tea with boba, she couldn't help smiling, really smiling.
Chan sat across from her with his Oolong Milk Tea without boba (😱) and smiled when he saw Geoun smiling.
"You must really like boba tea," Chan chuckled when Geoun nodded and giggled a bit.
"Is it that obvious?" She tucked her hair behind her ear before lining up the straw with the plastic lid and stabbing a hole so she could drink her tea.
Chan admired how her eyes narrowed and she bit her lip while concentrating. And especially the smile that formed when the straw poked through and she had her first sip.
"Mmmmmm. I haven't had boba in so long! And this is so good! Thank you, Chan," Geoun smiled up at Chan then sipped her drink some more.
"No problem, I'm glad I could make your day better." Chan smiled back at Geoun then enjoyed his own drink.
"The last time I had boba was when my brother got deployed, so like. A year ago," Geoun chewed on some boba.
"A year without boba? Damn, that's rough. I have it like twice a week. It helps me think when I'm writing my music." Chan took a sip then pulled out his phone.
"But you don't even get boba in your drink, how can you call it boba tea?!" Geoun pouted and sipped some more of her drink.
Chan chuckled to hide his smile from Geoun's cuteness.
"You got me there. Sometimes I just like to enjoy the tea," Chan smiled at Geoun and then went back to his phone.
"That's fair, sometimes even I don't want boba. So that song you showed me last night, the one from after the party, is it really finished? Or are you going to add some more stuff?"
"Well I love how it sounds right now, it sounds perfect to me, but before I complete anything, I always let my two friends check it out. So after they give me their input it'll be available on my soundcloud."
"Whoa soundcloud? That's so cool Chan, I gotta get that so I can listen." Geoun smiled up at the blond boy and sipped her drink more.
"Eh, it's okay," Chan smiled smugly and chuckled with Geoun. Then his face softened and he looked cautious. "So Geoun. About that note, Jungkook.. I'm not going to tell you how to live, but you should probably have someone with you at all times. I've experienced what he's capable of firsthand and I don't want that happening to anyone else, especially you."
Geoun's eyes widened and her face got red.
"Especially me? What's that mean?" Her voice was small and timid.
"Uh," Chan was caught off guard by the fact he let his emotions slip. "I-I mean. You're my friend, I watch out for my friends." He let out a breath as his words eased Geoun.
"Oh, okay." The girl smiled at Chan then drank more of her drink before her face fell a bit. "But, I don't want bodyguards at all times. And I know Yugyeom and BamBam won't leave me alone. Especially Yugyeom. The girls all think he had a crush on me."
