Detransforming, Chat, now Adrien, flopped loosely on the bed, replying the message in his head, brows knitting in worry.
"Her voice sounded concerned?"
"Don't care, I just want cheese!" Plagg lazily shifted through the air into Adrien's laundry basket, sniffing out his latest, sweat laden socks.
Adrien first gave out a grossed gag.
"Plagg, what if something happened? She sounded really tense. And sick, too! She coughed thrice, in like, a three-second voice mail!"
"Or she could just be pulling your leg."
"Impossible. Iris has no sense of humour."
"Yeah, that's a point."
"Well, guess we'll only know tonight. What if she's confessing her newfound feelings for me? And I'll have to reject her with a stony heart," Adrien placed a dramatic hand on his heart, closing his eyes and reciting some cringey romance plot, "For now, I, Adrien Agreste, has to remain loyal to his princess and not let her down! Oh, how I wish she should have done so before I moved on from her! Now the poor girl shall weep from unrequited love! Because I let her down!" He walked around in rounds, twirling like a princess singing while songs, "And I won't ever forgive myself if she got turned into a sentimonster because of me! Woe is me!"
"The number of delusions this kid is under scares me. The second-hand embarrassment. I can not take it."
