Layla POV:

I sat alone on the stands at Fox Raceway with Rhys sound asleep in my arms as I watch Jett practice. I really couldn't wait till I got to ride again myself. I was hoping to get completely cleared next week seeing as I was cleared to work out again two weeks ago now. I suddenly heard boots hit metal and I turned to see Levi walking up, and I couldn't help but smile in pride as I see the logos on his jersey. As he sits down next to me I bump shoulders with him and say,

"Well damn, look at this hot shot now! Almost didn't recognize you there!"

He snorts and rolls his eyes before puffing his chest out and gruffly saying,

"Well I'm kinda a big deal now haven't you heard? You want a autograph girl?"

I bit my lip to keep in the laughter trying to bubble up as I fake fan girl,

"Oh my god, yes! I'm such a big fan!"

We looked at each other and bust out laughing. After we calm down a bit I softly say,

"God have I missed you. Sorry I haven't been around here lately."

He shakes his head and puts a arm around my shoulder and says,

"Don't be, you have had a lot on your plate. I completely understand hun."

He looks down and his face softens as he looks at Rhys and says,

"He really is precious Lays. He is like the perfect mixture of you and Jett."

I smile softly down at my son and stroke his cheek and whisper,

"Yeah he is. I never wanted kids to be honest but now I'm so glad I did. He may have shocked the hell out of us but I love him more than you could imagine."

Before he could respond Sarah starts climbing up the steps with Jace in her arms. As she reaches us Jace reaches out for Levi making him laugh and Sarah pout as she hands him over. She sits down and mutters,

"Why does my son want everyone but me? Why don't you love me?"

We just laugh at her being dramatic and I say,

"He loves you, calm down."

She sticks her tounge out but what we didn't see was her actually upset over it. If we would have noticed we would have taken it seriously. But as we all sit around talking I notice Jett was watching us from across the track with a frown. I could feel myself frown before I shake my head and decide to deal with him later. But after a bit Levi and Sarah had to head back to their tent to train some more before calling it a day. But as Levi goes to leave he kisses my temple, neither of us think anything of it since we always did that even as kids. But unknown to me Jett saw the whole thing, and he wasn't happy. As the day goes on I notice Jett was being short with everyone but mostly me. And it hurt, because I hadn't done anything to make him that way. I would have walked up to him and asked him what was wrong but I was getting a feeling that it would not go over well at all so I hung back.

On the way back home the ride was silent, making me nervous seeing as anyone that knew Jett knew he was hardly ever quiet. As we pulled in he just gets out of the car and heads inside. It made me want to cry, I was trying to figure out what I could have done wrong to make him that made at me, so mad that he didn't even help with his son. I bit my lip as I get Rhys out of the car and head inside, only to see Jett standing there glaring at me. It makes me take a step back as I cradle my son closer to me. Never has he ever looked at me like that, and it scared me. Before anything could happen Sarah, Chase and Hunter walk in joking when they noticed the mood of the room. Hunter frowns and asks,
