BACK ALLEY OF A MOTEL - NIGHT

The streets were damp and the air was foggy.

An indistinct conversation was going on.

A man and a woman walked out of the back door and into an alley of a cheap motel. The alley was dark but lit by a pink neon motel sign.

The door closed.

A siren wailed in the distance.

It appeared someone was watching them from a car nearby.

"You were great, and I want to give you a little something," the man said, giving the woman money and touched her arm as he started to walk away, smiling at her. "Here you go. Thanks."

"Thank you," the woman replied.

"Yeah."

The mysterious man was watching the woman who was now standing alone.

The woman stuck the money in her purse and zipped it up.

The woman started to walk away. She walkdd away from the car where the mysterious man was sitting.

The mysterious man got out of the car.

The woman turned her head.

She saw no one but keeps walking forward while looking behind her.

The alley appeared empty which seemed to confuse her, so she stopped and turned almost all the way around to get a better look. When she decided no one was there, she looked forward and began walking again.

Banging sounded in the distance.

The woman gasped and turned all the way around, but still saw nothing.

As she turned, someone was standing in her path. She became startled to see man standing there.

The woman gasped again.

The man flashed his police badge.

The woman sighed. "Guess it's not my night."

"Guess not," the man replied.

The policeman pulled out a pair of handcuffs and the woman turned around to be cuffed. Neither of them looked surprised or seemed to find the situation unordinary. They both had blank expressions on their faces.

The policeman stepped up behind her and placed the cuffs on her wrists. The policeman turned her around and the woman looked at him unimpressed. The policeman suddenly grabbed the woman and began to choke her.

The woman screamed.

The policeman was suddenly in his bed waking up from what seemed like a nightmare. He appeared to still behaving the nightmare as he saw himself continue to kill the woman.

The policeman looked upset and scared after waking up. On his bed was a Doberman pincher lying nearby to his right. The dog jumped up as she noticed her master waking up from the nightmare.

The dog climbed on the right side of bed with the policeman and he reached his right hand out to caress her. The policeman calmed down but the dog began to whine as the policeman laid back down.

The dog laid her head across her master's lap and sniffed his hand.

POLICEMAN'S KITCHEN - NEXT DAY

The policeman walked into his kitchen wearing a blue robe. He walked by a fireplace where there was a letter of commendation on the mantle.
