This time he wasn't gone when I woke up. I found it odd but I like that he stayed this time.
The sun shinned through the window onto his soft, white sheets.
His hand was still around me. I gripped it tighter and I felt him cuddle me closer.
So then I knew he was awake.
"You didn't leave this time." I said
"What." he replied
"Everytime I fall asleep with you, when I wake your always gone, but not this time." I said
He let out a little laugh. "not anymore."
I smiled and turned to face him. I grabbed his face gently and was going to ask him what was wrong with me, but I didn't.
I don't know why I didn't, maybe I didn't want to know or I didn't want to ruin this perfect moment.
I closed my eyes again and felt Brett tuck my long brown hair behind my ear. I smiled and he grabbed my hand.
"This is perfect." I said to him while opening my eyes.
"This is perfect?" He asked
"Like right here, right now?" He said
"Yes, right here, right now." I replied while grabbing his face in my hand.
"But why?" He asked
"Beacause I'm with you, it's perfect, it's quite, peacefully and your here, with me." I replied
He smiled and leaned in and kissed me.
I broke the silence and the kiss.
"Brett, what's wrong with me?"
